hello everyone,

i'm sure this issue has been mentioned before, and if it has i apologise but in the game, every so often, on close up cut scenes, little sections of the player will flash; they look like squares which flash white and brown. i thought maybe this was a graphics card problem so i updated my gforce drivers. unfortunately the problem still persists. it doesn't detract from what is otherwise a wonderful game, but it would be nice to be able to resolve it. i've attached a picture of liverpool's abel xavier which doesn't really show the problem in detail, but looks a little strange around the collar!

any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. in the meantime, enjoy fifa 2003!

I had the same problem and also have a GeForce graphics card. Since getting my computer in September, I got the latest drivers. However, the status of my card changed from the card name with TV out (dell) to the card name. last night I reinstalled the original graphics drivers and it was perfect :)

So maybe you'll have to reinstall your old, card specific drivers, rather than the general ones :)

I HAD this problem as well. I have a Nvidia GeForce 2.

All i did to fix this was change the default card setting from Blend to Best Image Quality and it looks great. Problem solved.

Easiest way:

right click on your desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce2 Tab > Additional Properties > Direct3d Settings Tab

Change it from Blend to Best.
