Chelsea2001 07-11-2002, 12:02:PM Well it may only be the worthington cup but there was loads of shocks tonight.

Last years loosing finalists Tottenham lost to Burnley at Turf Moore 2-1 after Gus Poyet got them the lead :rockman:

hey, don't forget Chelsea:p :o
Neutral LFC 07-11-2002, 07:34:PM Carlton Cole's goals were nice. All this talk about Wayne Rooney (and rightly so), but we shouldn't forget what a prospect Cole is (even if he is a 'geezer' at 19, lol). :)
ShearerM4 07-11-2002, 09:41:PM ... I didn't get to see Liverpool's Chelsea's and Newcastle goals ...
ohh well ... shame
Anyway we lost to Everton ... not a great loss considering we were without Solano, Shearer, Speed, Given, Hughes...
Anyway just as well that it was Laurent Robert who missed the decisive pen for Toon seeing as he's been playing Sh1te lately.

I'll take that balcony and raise you my patio...we will not be relegated but finish bottom half. We are deficient in almost every area of play. It's ****ting me up the wall, we shouldn't stop at Roeder but go to the board as well..

Roeder isn't all bad; though with the talent that is there and the results that are being produced something should be done.
How gay are Canadian players:
Carlo Corazzin scored in the 42nd minute as Second Division Oldham stunned West Ham United 1-0 at Upton Park, Wednesday in the second round of the Worthington Cup.
It was yet another upset for teams with Canadians on their roster over an EPL team. Paul Peschisolido came on in the 64th minute as Sheffield United upset Leeds 2-1, Wednesday. On Tuesday, Jason deVos played 90 minutes as Wigan defeated rivals Manchester City 1-0.
:f***: Corrazin, but :rockman: for Peschisolido, though they all suck. BTW, great Canadian names: Corrizin and Peschisolido:confused:

Roeder is crap, he was a top flight defender for 10 years, yet he still can't install a reliable defence. He commands no respect from the sideline either.
But as I said, the board must go as he has had little (read: none) money to spend.
BTW Evan, great sig. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal high on drugs. ;)

Yah, I guess I just like the guy for some reason.
No gay jokes necessary.
