He's gone:( :(

form the Rockets Site:

Nov. 9 - The number 34 has a special place in the hearts of all Houston sports fans. The legacy began back in 1978 when running back Earl Campbell broke out the powder blue No. 34 as a rookie with the Houston Oilers. Campbell went on to become one of the most feared running backs in the NFL during a marvelous seven-year career with the Oilers. About the same time Campbell was lighting up opposing NFL defenses, baseball legend Nolan Ryan was dominating National League batters while donning No. 34 for the Houston Astros. Tonight the Houston Rockets will raise No. 34 to the rafters of Compaq Center in honor of the greatest player in franchise history, Hakeem Olajuwon

Bah, he was one of the greatest ever, but players should know when to quit. I hated seeing him get burned by everybody in the last 3 seasons...
