Forgetting about Liverpool...

1. Manchester United -- obviously. Haven't changed their squad in a while, which makes teamwork better. Haven't gottten worse from last season.

2. Liverpool -- Great signings, great attackers.

3. Leeds -- nice balanced squad -- have enough foreigners, Leeds academy talent and English talent. Lack of expreince may get the chances worse.

4. Arsenal -- lack of understandning may cause problems, because it is very international squad.

5. Tottenham -- what about them? Rebrov and Sullivan, plus there are lots of English-based experienced players with good academy youngsters. Good chances.

6. Chelsea -- may split the 4-5-6 with Spurs and Gunners. have pretty much the same chances as these two.

surely u cannot say someone like spurs will win the league. its ok sayin someone like man u or arsenal will win it cos they are proven over many years.
spurs get 4 points from 2 games and all of a sudden they are world beaters. if we are all following this trend then surely charlton will win it they have a 100% record scored 4 conceded 0

Loserpool have shown us twice already this season why they will again not win the Premiership title. They have a good team nonetheless, but 1 goal in 2 games speak for itself. Owen and Fowler are sorely needed, but I doubt their on-an-off heroics will be enough for team that's seeing red all-over.

I think it will be tough between Chelsea,Man Utd, and Leeds United. Then Arsenal step in, they beat Chelsea and Leeds and Arsenal has one of those typical unbeatable periods, just at the right time, and it will go down to the wire once more between Arsenal and Man Utd.
At the moment I would say....

1) Man Utd - Were they ripping apart 3rd division team Stoke or NUFC the other day?
2) Arsenal - Pronounced no-hopers after Overmars and Petit have gone, but Pires and Lauren will have plenty to offer.
3) Leeds Utd - Highly exciting and gifted young team able to beat teams with electrifying pace througout the 90 minutes.
4) Chelsea - Always strong contenders, an out-side bet, but usually end up 3rd or 4th, this season is no different
5) Liverpool - When the final day comes, Barthez won't make that mistake again by ending up at Anfield, he'll now the title is waiting for him at Old Trafford

1. Scumchester United - they are still the best by some distance

2. LEEDS - When Smith scores Leeds win, a record that has lasted 2 years now

3. Chelsea - Jimmy floyd will give them the goals they lacked last year

4. Liverpool - getting better, but wont improve on last seasons finish

5. Arsenal - they will have that run where they can't lose, but the loss of petit and overmars along with Viera's suspensions will cost them

6-11 will be fought out between Newcastle, Sunderland, Spurs, Villa, West ham and leicester.

12-15 between Everton, boro, southampton and Derby

leaving 16-20 between bradford, ipswich, charlton, coventry and man city
