i found this, apparently the webmaster has been following a lot of the ISS series. Mostly introduction of the game, nothing much about the controls.

btw, the swerve shot is another difficult one to master. During corners, i try to look at the ball and it does curve a little. but i have no idea about shooting and freekicks.
the most i get is to hit the ball and to hear a "PONG" sound. ARGGH, SO CLOSE! should have scored those i thought. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/tongue.gif
