Here is what should be done for Fifa 2004:
Remap the following controls- Headers should have own separate button ex. white button on XBOX, in the style of MLS Extratime; you can head the ball as a pass or a shot on goal, and when you are all alone (unlike Fifa 2003, which requires an opposing player to be there),
The other extra button ex. black button on XBOX would be for Step Overs. This was lost from Fifa World Cup 2002. One button each for: passing, shooting, through balls, and the last button would be for lob/volley. There would be a power meter for passing, through balls and shooting.
One trigger for sprinting, and the other for setting up a run.
The Team Management screen would be for making player substitutions and to see player attributes, but also to set up formations, and INDIVIDUAL Player agressiveness, as in MLS Extratime, as well as setting global offensive/defensive posture of the team. The right analog would still be for Freestyle play and the left for player movement.
Corner kicks would allow ball spin as well as targeting, and the same with free/penalty kicks.
