v Nistelrooy had the chance real early to score a goal but didn't unfortunately. Hasselbaink did it, assist by van der Vaart to v Nistelrooy and goodbye Germany that was IT!!
We are ready for Euro 2004, we need to qualify first but I'm confident that we will.

Our second team in the second half was not good. But in the first half we played really good :)

Germany played really well and we got problems in the first half.
In the second half they got some half chances, but they didn't capitalize like Holland did.
I think the big difference was that Holland got for each half two world class strikers (Kluivert Makaay in the 1st and Hasselbaink-van Nistelrooy in the 2nd).

It is a good sign that Holland was able to win a game, dispite playing not well. Maybe they were sleepy, because of that noise in the night in front of their hotel?? :D

I find the result a bit flattered. 1-2 would have been a better result. We, Holland that is, didn't play great but finally we showed that with hard work we can actually win matches. It was also extremely good to see the luxury that we have. We substituted some "good" players like Cocu, Kluivert and de Boer and weren't getting any weaker at all. That is a privilage that will get us far. Very far. See you in Portugal 2004!

Congrats to Holland!!! well done! a great victory! good to see u bouncing back, and in some style!! now just ensure Euro 2004 qualification! (not being sarcastic).

the only real difference between the two teams in the second half was, that germany didn´t have one real striker in the game!!
klose was injured and changed at halftime and bobic was too tired in the secon half. after bobic was changed we played with freier and asamoah as strikers. these two normally play as right offensive midfielder !!!!!

lovely 3-1 win, but what holland need is consistancy and luck. If they have that that will win every game, because they have sme of the best players in the world.
