For Trappatoni, this was certainly a poor result, despite a draw. Trappatoni must resign. He's still incapable of reaching favorable results so far.

yup those inter players are the best in their teams right now. and yes i think trappatoni is damaging the trust that is being given to him. good result for a firendly.

I know Trappatoni has been under the gun for a while now but a draw with turkey is nothing to be ashamed of.

Turkey is a very good team. 3rd in the world cup. I was pissed that they had to meet brasil before the final. I'm not Turkey fan, I'm just saying that if two teams met in the group stage, the next time they should meet should be in the final.

Well a great result as a friendly match. I havn't watched the game but the result seems great for both sides. And the_man yeah your right Turkiye should of met Brazil in the finals, someting is wrong with the FIFA's system.

Well, It's obvious that trapattoni is a bad manager.He can't make a good tactic or substitution.Italy has many stars but in a bad formation stars mean nothing.In the first half, Turkey played with ideal 11 and played very well.I'm amazed by the performance by emre, he's getting better always.I couldn't believe how he could destroy the solid italian defence.I wish Nihat wasn't injured and could play.He's far more better than old arif.But I couldn't understand the silly substitutions in the 2nd half by senol günes.Did he do it to make everyone play? After all we can see Turkey is one of the best attacking teams in the world and going to destroy england.

Well under their normal system they would have met in the finals if turkey beat germany and brasil beat s.korea, but they aranged the tournament around the fact that they didn't want Japan and S.Korea to meet until the finals if at all posible. That is what screwed up the whole thing. Maybe they should limit hosting to one country, if you country isn't big enough to host it, that's too bad. BTW, either country could have host the tournament. With 10 stadiums, that is as many as france had.
