why 4 mins of extra time, uefa adds 30 sec for each subsitute also there were various stoppages rememeber zidane bent over telling albertini who was the better player on the pitch and then albertini said look at the time now whos the idiot

fact is france was the better team, and they prevailed on the day
all out defence will never win you a tournament in this day and age where strikers have become alot better, and more lethal

had italy maybe resorted to an attacking side which did them a world of good in thier first 20 min of the tourney against the turks, italy may have won this tournament!!

now now lets not blame the italian prince del piero, this man is pure class and is one of the best players in the world so he scuffed two goals, they were not important at the time cuz italy had it in the bag!
why no blame the hand of toldo that could have kept the ball out or nesta for letting the winning pass to trezguet through his legs are they not also to blame?

fact is that france go from power to power
france do not need uefa's help in winning
when you have a side that can bring on the likes of a wiltord, pires, petit, leboeuf, karembeu and not to mention the fact that your man in the midfield is without a doubt the best player out there cmon wake up

there are no conspiricys just idiots with excuses

congrats france congrats!!!!!

Yes, the 4 mins were o.k.
But Italy clearly held it's own in the final, and in the second half had the better chances.
So please stop saying that defensive-offensive crap, it may be true for the tourney, but not for the final.

Im sick and tired of hearing offense-defense thing .If Italy would of put everyone on attack ,they would have a lot of problems in the back and France could easily capitilize .

neutral, at first i thought barthez is too small for the premiership, i was thinking manu were looking for someone owth toldo stature, but the more you see barthez play, the more you respect him, the player has awesome agility and makes up for his small frame i hope he will be the man to fill the great danes shoes at old trafford

and to my two italian friends i not arguing about offensive defensive B.S but i thought italy looked so dangerous in that first game against turkey, when they played a free flowing game with 3 strikers, and a constant attack from defense to fowards, seeing that game i thought the italians would do alot of damage in the tournament.
