Roma Vs Arsenal- Club Championship.

As Roma I am leading 2-0 with ten minutes left, holding Arsenal to no shots on goal. Suddenly the CPU decides they must score. After an Arsenal corner Totti heads out of the box, the ball landing at Parlours feet. Suddenly, without any warning my keeper runs off his line and chops Parlours legs from under him, despite not having been activiated by me whatsoever. Lungberg scores, 2-1. Now it's relentless pressure and raining shots from the Gunners. They force a corner. Time is up, I can't stop them I know they will score. Corner, Jeffers, header, goal, 2-2, controller flies across room. Cheat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happens quite alot. Whenever I'm up by two I just know there's absolutely nothing I will be able to do to stop the opposition.
It seems it's been like that in most EA games for years now.
The NHL series, FIFA, Madden, you name it. There are just times when you're ahead you know you're gonna lose.

Madden is just as bad. So many times I will be winning by a couple of touchdowns with a few minutes left and then I'll throw a series of interceptions and the opposition will march 99 yards with just three throws and score. It's bloody frustrating.

HAHAHA. Wow, you guys are good. Because I noticed it in both NHL and Madden. When you score in NHL, suddenly, the team that looked so bad a few seconds before is hailing shots down on your goalie. And in Madden, suddenly, when it's the end of the half or the game, the computer will go on fire and do all these juke moves or something to make a huge game.

It always involved something becoming "superhuman." In NHL, the goalie of the computer becomes superhuman--for example, the game I just played, I had 54 shots on net, with only one goal. Whereare the computer had 20 and scored four goals in the last three minutes of the game (it was 1-1). In Madden, the running back or receiver becomes almost invincible, and in FIFA, the strikers become super accurate and the goalkeepers flying through the air like supermen.

i understand what you guys mean but at the end of a game the team that is losing is ALWAYS pressing to score....it certainly is possible to stop them....just my opinion

But isn't satisfying when you win? Kill the CPU! Sometime I actually yell at the screen asking,"WHO IS DA MAN, WHO?" Well.. maybe just me but you guys have a point.

if it annoys you that much if they go ahead or even through 'cheating' just go to team controls change to opposition then pass back to their goallie and walk it into their net, then change back to your team lol

Man ur not kiddin about that NBA live 2003 thing ......its as if u can not win if the game decides u must lose. I was playin the nets with the lakers and leading by 18 with about 2 mins left. 5 straight unanswerable 3 pointers from fast breaks by jason kidd....if i got up to block any of them I would conveniently miss the ball and the cpu player stripped the ball from me when he was no where near me (from like 4 feet away!) to win the game??

I got to say though that when i do win i feel like da gad damn man.

hmm.. i love it how the teams press harder towards the end of the game- ads that little bit extra to it

as for nba.. shaq can make 3s... rarely though. i sunk a few in a 1 on 1 the other night.

This also happens to me, when i was england vs argentina, i was winning 2-0, about 70 mins to 90 mins, CPU score 2 goals, the game end up as a draw, 2-2, This was International Cup, England was disqualiphy coz I draw all the matches,
Then i play international Cup again but using Senegal, on same level as before, I WON!!!

if CPU is losing nearly end of the game it start shooting some long range shot, (on xbox)

it happens all the time, the losing team presses at the end, how many nfl games end on the last drive? yesterday I was watching a german bundesliga game and the local team was winning 2-0 in the 83rd minute of the game and the other team came back in 4 minutes and tied the game. Last week my home team was losing 0-1 and scored 2 goals in 3 minutes and went to win 2-1.

Mates you can stop the CPU i do it all the time and i play n world class the problem is thay cant stop me i must say i have come back from 0-2 more ofen than the cumpoter. When you see the CPU team are preesing you for a goal you just must be relly concentretet and dont be afraid to clean the ball. Do long bolls up and sometimes you get luckey and you striker picks it up.

LOL! I do this sometimes just to show the CPU who the master is! They won't get the better of me! One game as Spurs vs Arsenal it was 3-1 to me with five minutes left and of course the gits scored twice in a minute so I played as the Gunners and had Seaman walk the ball into the net!

I've had something like that but managed to pull away with the win.
me as lakers up by 12 with 2 mins left
All of a sudden the comp is intercepting nearly every pass and everytime I go up for a dunk I miss.
scores tied with 30secs left.
I managed to get a 3, steal the ball then hold on for the last 20 secs or so.
