I just saw on "The Score" that Jardel has just signed a 4 year/$24.5 Million (US I think) deal with Gala. Is this true????

I think its a bad career move cause if he were to move in a strong league like(England,Spain or Italy),he could prove is worth ,but playing in the Turkish league will be easy for Jardel ,he will probably score 30+ goals .Im not criticizing the league ,but its not in the top 3 leagues at this moment .

Yeah heard about that some time ago now and I also read that Boksic is on his way there too..not that I dislike the Turkish league in any way or so but..HELLO!?!?!

Can understand Boksic, not getting a regular place in Lazio, and now with Lopez coming (if now this is true..)

But Jardel!?...nut...

Jardel was on my favourite team FC Porto last season and yes it is true.. he is now on Galatasaray.
He said he didn't want to move down or across but wanted to take a step up to the Serie A, English Premier or La Liga.
I don't know what you consider more popular, Portuguese League or Turkish League.. but to me it seems a step backwards!

ok, i'll tell you why he did it.

this brazilian guy from the brazilian national team went to gs to watch capone as a possible candidate for the national team, yet he didn't go to porto to watch jardel, so obviously jardel hopes he'll be able to get more recognition and achievement at gs.

Question: Wouldn't he receive just as much, probably more attention, if he had gone to Serie A, The Primera Liga or the Premiership?? I have no doubt that he can survive all three leagues, and any team in those respective leagues would gladly pay the fortune he commands. It just seems like a step down (No offense) from Italy, Spain and England, or even Germany.

GShakan09, Jardel has already been capped by Brazil on a few occasions, so he got plenty of recognition in Porto.
