G'day everyone, would just like to say hello and all that.

I'm Michael from Melbourne, Australia. I usual hang around on the D2 Forum...but just got TCM2003...and love it!

I just have one problem.

Whenever I watch the game in 3D if I substitute, or press escape for any reason...when I hit resume the game crashes....this is supremely annoying.

I have already dl'ed the latest update.......


Any ideas on how to fix this????

Don't you get more crashes without the update? (I do not have the game thanks to flamehawk.)

No, the patch fixes quite a lot of things the only problems are when the user is using an illegal crack than the menu goes all screwy. And yes, the substitution crash in a know bug and was fixed in teh latest patch which u can download from download.soccergaming.com

Just click on the TCM 2003 1.1 patch. I also recommend getting Andrew's Ball Physics patch. It improves the 3d Match Mode a lot making it much more realistic.

Thank you for your assistance. I have dl'ed the patch, but unfortunately it still crashes. EA Support are helping me with this, maybe one of the reasons is due to the patch being for the English version of the game and I have the Asia-Pacific version.

I have two more question:

1) Does update 1.1 have the badges, and additional leagues that have been released? i.e. Turkey, Israel.....

2) I have heard that switching off auto save alleviates some of the crashing problems, is this true?

1) Nope but the database update does which u can also download from downloads.soccergaming.com

2) Yes, indeed it helps prevent some crashes it is also said that deleting the mp3 folder helps too.

The only time my game has crashed has been in the Training screen when I clicked on Individual Orders, but since the patch it hasn't crashed.

I have also taken autosave off....I hate these features anyways.

However, it CONTINUALLY crashes in the 3D game engine, whenever I attempt to make a substitution. Basically, I have to train my players right, send them on and pray that I get no injuries during the game...

I believe that this issue HAS to be sorted in the next patch, it is simply IRRESPONSIBLE. EA is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, gaming software producers in the world, who can hire the best programmers; and I believe I as a consumer should not have to put up with a faulty game. I paid my money not only for text mode, but also for 3D, and the ability to change tactics and make subs in this 3D engine as well!

Thanks again....would you be able to list out all the updates I require for the database that are not on the patch? That is if, you don't mind :)

personally i prefer the text mode over the 3d mode anyway, i mean i've been playing the cm series and i feel that the text mode is more nervy and exciting cause u cant really see whats happening
