I've been trying to do offensive headers and volleys in FIFA 2003, but without much success. The computer always seem to score when they do a header from a corner kick, but none of my players seem to be able to connect with the ball when I press the header button... also, I seemed to accidentally do a midair volley once, but I forgot what I pressed. Anyone have tips on how to succesfully complete header or volleys? Thanks :)

Headers...
Nearly impossible to score from corners. On crosses tap the header button and the player will either do a low volley or header towards goal. This seems to be much more effective than using the shoot button.
Volleys...
On corners tap the lob button and sometimes the player will perform an acrobatic volley. Ive scored several times like this, not every game though so be patient.
These tips are for the ps2 version...not sure about other platforms

If its impossible to score from corners, why does the computer, even in amateur mode, easily do a header after recieving the corner kick and score?... if the comp could do that, the human player should also...

i said "nearly impossible"
The computer scores because your keeper runs out like a moron, stops right in front of the computer player and lets the header right past him. Ive noticed this usually happens when you hold down the header button when defending a corner. If you tap it rapidly you can still head the ball out while the keeper stays on his line and saves anything they head in on net
