I have a problem to play multiplayer, maybe someone knows what i am doing wrong?

I have an ISDN modem and i want to play with a friend of mine who has a 56K6 modem

Can we play fifa with each other, and if yes what do i have to do to play cause i cannot get an connection with his modem
