Chelsea2001 28-11-2002, 11:44:AM 4-1 final score Solano then Recoba again for Inter:( :( :o .::John::. 28-11-2002, 11:45:AM 4-1 at full time. This doesn't reflect the performance of newcastle though. They played great for a team with ten men.:rockman: Internazionale 28-11-2002, 11:47:AM Inter won 4-1 ! Inter won ! Yay ! :) WOOOOOHOOOOO !!! :rockman: It was a good match for Inter afterall ! Superb pass by J. Zanetti in setting up the 1st goal ! Almeyda's superb kick in 20 meters distance was AWESOME !!! :rockman: And, not to miss, Crespo's 9 goals ! Holy GOD ! He's the man ! thank you Okan Buruk! And of course, Dalmat is back after so many absent. Thank you Dalmat for setting up the last 4th goal for Recoba ! Silencer 28-11-2002, 01:35:PM Damn after seeing the way they trashed NUFC, Ajax did pretty well against Inter considering (H) What a beating huh?! Inter was very very strong indeed, that Almeyda goal was fantastic :o INFESTA 28-11-2002, 01:42:PM Well, you got to gve it to Newcastle: down 1 man since the 5th minute and even after being down by 3 goals, they neve quit! I really loved their attitude, but facts are facts, and Inter is the better side. I know it's frustrating to attack the whole game and create great chances and then see the other team have just a couple of them and score; that's what happened when Inter faced Sporting Lisbon on the CL qualifying stages, but that's why they're the better side... This was the first time I saw Newcastle play with Viana, and why is he playing on the left? He's good at the midfield position; he has no skills to play on the left! I hope he doesn't get burned for playing in a place that isn't obviously his.:( mhflierman 28-11-2002, 03:33:PM Originally posted by INFESTA Well, you got to gve it to Newcastle: down 1 man since the 5th minute and even after being down by 3 goals, they neve quit! They were the side whose tactics worked out perfectly. 10 men bhind the ball and a deadly scorer up fron who finishes on the counter attack. Typical Italian but it works so credits to them. Newcastle was the more entertaining side, but in the end that doesn't get you trough to the next round.... ryan_goal 28-11-2002, 03:42:PM Tactics Problem for NUFC!!!! When u are down to 10 men and still try to attack the whole game against a side which are so good at defence and counter-attack, no matter how beautifully u played, u ueself kick ur ass!:kader: Paul 28-11-2002, 04:28:PM Originally posted by INFESTA Well, you got to gve it to Newcastle: down 1 man since the 5th minute and even after being down by 3 goals, they neve quit! Viana is good ... i think Robson is moulding him so he can play left as well :) bertkamp16 28-11-2002, 05:26:PM Alright Inter!! Great, great goals...what a world class move by Dalmat to set up the final goal by El Chino, Recoba. Inter AND Arsenal are both kicking a** in Champions League...it doesn't get any better than that for me! windtalker 28-11-2002, 07:47:PM wow ! Now Inter is showing their real form. :o And why the hell Bellamy did that !? It's his second red card in CL. Recoba's goal was class too. :) mufc_daddy 28-11-2002, 11:04:PM I admire the way that Newcastle didn't give up even after how things went to pieces so early in the game. I think the ref in that game was a disgrace as he booked Crespo for hand ball when he used his shoulder and even if it was a foul it shouldnt have been a yellow card offence. What annoys me even more is that straight after that Cannavaro pushed Shearer and got nothing even though it was a deliberate push and Cannavaro was already on a yellow. Shearer had suffered being fouled 11 times (7 of those came from Cannavaro). It was a tough game for him but he and Newcastle kept on fighting. I wonder if Bellamy will be dropped for league games???? paul_7 28-11-2002, 11:52:PM I don't see why people are saying Inter are boring, they scored the most goals in the UCL this week and produced a fine match. Valencia also drew with Ajax today (1-1) and if Inter can beat Ajax away from home (as well as at home), do you think they could beat Valencia? playmate 29-11-2002, 05:55:AM dalmat was gr8 with that run. so was recoba. dalmat will soon be hailed as one of the best wingers in the world. i know inter fans already think so.:) ShearerM4 29-11-2002, 07:16:AM well you can all imagine that I'm extremly frustrated !!!!! Bellamy's sending off was a joke ... Materazzi went in typical italian style ... and French linesman (you could have guessed it) fell for it !!! Materazzi fouled bellamy about 4 times before Craig clipped his heals. Straight red and thing since it's his second offence ...well he'll probably get more than 5 games :kader: UEFA is a joke coz they can't even look into it. It's no coincidence that every time Italian teams are involved these kinda events happen. I really don't know how you people who doso watch Serie A every week .... I'd go mad ... I'd rather watch Conference football rather all those wankers dive about. It's shocking sometimes .. If I did that ona footy pitch Iwould justfeel so ridiculous. well it's a neverending story really. okay Inter played well and were mightely efficient. But Newcastle had lost the game before it even really got started. Dhruv 29-11-2002, 07:26:AM 5-3 against Man Utd. 4-1 against Inter Damn thats one bad week for Newcastle playmate 29-11-2002, 07:44:AM Originally posted by ShearerM4 Bellamy's sending off was a joke ... Straight red and thing since it's his second offence i think bellamy did more than just clip his heals. for me that was a red card. but i think inter had some plan to provoke bellamy into doing something stupid and they succeeded. bellamy got to be more smart in future.like he has to learn the thing called controlled aggression.;) |
