View Full Version : Intensive Attacking : The 3-3-4 formation. Who would you play ?

I've been playing ISS 98 a lot lately and I've been experimenting with otherwise wacky formations. I've been playing under a 3-3-4 formation, but only after I created an incredible Offense, dynamic Midfield, and a solid, quick defense that can always make it back on time.

This is how I would picture the formation:

This would be my ultimate lineup:

GK -> Chilavert / Iker Casillas
LB -> Roberto Carlos / Maldini
CB/SW -> Cannavaro / Nesta
RB -> Cafu / Michel Salgado
LW -> Denilson / Beckham
CM -> Zidane / Hierro
RW -> Figo / Conceiçao
LF -> Morientes / Suker
LCF -> Vieri / Trezeguet
RCF -> Raul / Nuno Gomes
RF -> T. Henry / Ronaldinho

Now this is my opinion. Who would be the crazy coach and what would YOUR picks be for the ultimate attacking squad ? I'd like to see some ideas from other people. Have fun,

TeKNoS

Now that is hardcore offense!!!

I WANNA HAVE FUN TOO!!!

3-3-4?? Nah .... 3-3-1-3

GK: Chilavert

LB: Maldini
CB: Nesta
RB: Cafu

LW: Denilson
CM: Rivaldo
RW: Figo

CF: Bergkamp

LST: Veiri
CST: Ronaldo
RST: BatiGOL!!!

Hmmmmm .... I left so many good players (Davids, Zizou, R Carlos, Barthez, Henry) .... but hey .... I think this would be more efficient. What ya tink?

OK, it didn't let me display the formation, but use your imaginations and picture this:

- A solid sweeper in the back;
- Two dynamic defenders that would push up to the midfield and run down the lines to add a bit more of attacking power;
- A strong and solid center midfielder with great ball distribution abilities;
- Two wings that would run the lines to help out the offense and cross when all forwards are in the box;
- Two wing-forwards that would cross to the center forwards and midfield that run into the box;
- And two forwards with enough skill to break down defenders inside the box.

I'm not sure if you realized it, but I had written a "thank you" for your Gravis help...

Guess what? It worked! However, for some strange reason, it occupied half of my resources on my computer, and FIFA ran extremely choppy with it...

Is there something that I have to turn off before I run FIFA? Because already, I have not played FIFA for about a week now, and I really miss it...

Yeah I noticed. You're welcome. Believe me I had too many problems before I tried that software out. But in the end it fixed them all.

I really wouldn't know why that would happen to you, it could be another application running in the background, or just Xperience itself occupying some resources. I usually shut down all unnecessary applications before playing a game, because I have a very slow puter (233 MMX Intel Pentium, 32 MB RAM, Voodoo 3 2000 16 MB RAM, 4.3 GB SLOW-ass drive), but I manage to survive most of the time.

I wish you luck, because Xperience is the best thing you can use, otherwise I don't know. Have fun though, http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

There are a bunch of people that I hadn't even thought of. I've always like Tore Andre Flo too, but he didn't look too sharp at the Eurocup against Slovenia.

Thanks to those that contributed =)
