Southall starts the game about that age! HAHA you cant get very far! 50 is a record as far as i've seen!! and 2026 is pretty impressive too! I'v got to 2021 before

50!!! I haven't seen anyone that old! I wouldn't let them play to that age, i retire my players at 33! just imagine having him for another 17 years!

I suppose Reddy got lucky, The oldest I have seen is 43 with Neville Southall, I've seen others on Free transfer at like 46 but that doesn't count because they aren't playing football!

It wouldnt be fotoshopped. If u were going fake it, ud get a save game editor, rename a player to Vieira, add his stats, etc, and birthdate, and there u have an old vieira ;)

yeah but the date in the corner of the screen confirms that it's 2026 and as far as I know there's no way to change the start date

There is no way to change the start date! It must be real because even if you just change someones nickname they still have to be 50.
Maybe his game had a slight bug when it loaded up therefore corrupting Viera's age limitations or something

once again, not quite completley off the subject, i once created my dad as a manager on CM, for a luagh..... however, i made him wrong and he showed up as 92. He then just vanished a week into the game, it didnt say hed been sacked. Weird... again.... yet funny.

I've heard of this happening in the game before, from my cousin, he sold Schmicheal to Fiorentina he died a year later in a plane crash.

I can't change things on my editor because of my file path.
Its not part of the arse command because one of the incidents was on CM2, which didn't have an arse command, although you could change the match commentary

i used tyo love doing that on CM2, i once changed a sending off to, "Oh my god, hes attacking the ref with the corner flag!"

It was to risky to put in anything decent like swear words at that age because my dad played on it and when he saw stuff like "that was a s*it goal" he went a bit crazy lol
I did put one i saying "world class finish" and you always saw it when i was playing lower divisoins!

On the official SI forums some guy had a confirmed screenshot of a Polish guy aged 63 and still playing..WTF??

damn i reached season 2024 and when i saved the game.. it crashed :kader: and the savegame was corrupt

man poor you, i find when i start to do really well i find that it crashes alot

Yeah sometimes when you get really far into Championship manager the game can't handle how much data has passed through, so it crashes and the game corrupts, my mate got to 2030 and his game crashed he was well p!ssed off

Well in one of my databases, there a springy young youthful me, aged an amazing -1! I was born in 18.11.2001 or something. You have to use a CM3 Pre-Data Editor from SI though. (TROD recommended this)

I have played everysingle champ manager from champ manager 1 all the way to the latest.

The only one in which i won everything was Champ Manger 96/97

I won the world cup, european championship cup, the preimer league, the fa cup, charity sheild, uefa cup, champions league.

Manager of month awards.

I loved that game, since then ive struggled on every single game since.

i know one player who plays for Rochdale in Dv3

He is called Bobby Ford,

He starts the game at the age of 42

And i watched him take over a player manager and he carried on until 51.

I dont have a screen shot, but he was 51 he didnt play but he was avalible for a game

I'll have a look for this on my game 2008 he should be well on the way by then, i'll look now

It will vary, i mean i played up until 2010 and he just retired at 51 but then i started another game and her retired straight away so it depends really.

I looked him up hes only 32 :(, At Barcelona! Hes got some fantastic stats though

Right in that case min click on edit by your top post and then when it comes up with a new screen it should say delete click the tick box and press delete! okay
