View Full Version : Anyone ever seen an Entity?
nickclubman 02-12-2002, 11:41:PM Have any of you ever seen an Entity (ghost).
I know my mate has experience some rough sh*t over the years against his Manchestuer United posters, flags, etc. He doesn't even support them and his Grand dad HATED Man-u, but passed away. When we were sat in his bedroom listening to some Man-u match on the radio, the radio channel changed and the man-u poster FLEW off the wall and smashed!!!!!
And his sisters lipstick kept on turning up is stupid places, this also happened to their shoes, this was WEEEEEIIIRRRDD!!!
I believe that there's some sort of energy in that house, but they've moved now and the only thing that happens is the lights turn on and off for no reason and they've checked the fuse and NOTHING is wrong with them...has the entity followed my mate?

Well, I get those all the time. I've read some scientific explanation somewhere and it got me pretty convinced. I don't remember it exactly, so I'll leave it, the exlpanation, for either Evan, Aaron or monkee. ;)

there is one explanation here:http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/intuition_remote_viewing/91956
How does deja vu happen?
The scientific explanation is that it has to do with memory processes. I'll make it as simple as I can here. The basic idea is that there are portions of the brain that are specialized for the past, the present and the future. In general, the frontal lobes are concerned with the future, the temporal lobes are concerned with the past, and the underlying, intermediate portions (the limbic system) are concerned with the present. When these are all doing their normal thing, in normal states of consciousness, the feeling that 'something is going to happen will only come up when we are thinking about the future, worrying about it, anticipating it or making plans for it. The sense of the past will only come up when our memories have been triggered in some way.
The structure that overwhelms our consciousness when we are 'in the present are 'being here now' is the amygdala. It assigns an emotional 'tone' to our perceptions. When you step into the street and see a car speeding towards you, and you instantly freeze in terror and jump out of the way, that terror is the amygdala at work. Present. Here and now. The amygdala also recognizes expressions the expressions on people's faces. When we are talking to someone, we can recognize their expressions and change the way we are talking to them just as quickly as we recognize danger. Words can often seem dangerous to the one hearing them. "we're thinking of letting you go." "I've been thinking that our relationship is holding me back." "You are under arrest."
Phrases like these need instant, appropriate responses, and the amygdala is specialized to provide them. For example, one function it participates in, the maintenance of the sense of self, is repeated 40 times per second. Each instance of the self is able to manifest a new emotional response, but only if circumstances have changed. Every 25 milliseconds. In fact, the duration of the 'present' in neurological terms is so brief that we don't experience it so much as remember it.

Internazionale 05-12-2002, 06:09:AM Believe it or not, my sister saw a woman ghost back time in Indonesia. It was 1.00 a.m outside my garage, she told me that there was a white woman staring at my sister. My sister was putting garbage out that usually be collected around 5.00 a.m every day. My sister ran inside quickly after she saw the ghost.
It was so ****ing freaky, I was still studying in my living room, and when she told me about that, I was just.....running to my bedroom, get cover from my blanket, can't move my body around,....it's just so HELL freaky !!!

Have you ever thought that maybe ur sis was lying?
Gerrard 17 05-12-2002, 06:34:AM Nah, i dont believe in any of that stuff...
no matter who says it, even if I saw a "ghost", i wouldnt believe its a real ghost....
just illusions, lighting, imagination, shadows, wind, etc...
no ghosts if you ask me, sanjays :)
but deja vu, is a different thing... ive had many of those, more when i was younger, and i know that some of the situations when i had deja vu, couldnt have happened before to me... like having one of those walking down the street in Cali, when it was my first time ever in the U.S...... weird :)

No. She would never lie to me. I knew my sister very well at that time. She was so scared too. She even went to sleep directly after she told me.

lol, he might as well be dead...
anyhow, about ghosts....I'm one of those born sceptics who doesn't beleive anything until I see it. Now, I beleive that people think they see ghosts, ufo's, etc....but I highly doubt that's what they actually saw..
AhmedK 06-12-2002, 08:05:AM I dont bealive them ethier we as humans just need explanations for something. When we dont understand not many of us got to the most logical reason but let our fears take hold of reason.
I dont think ive ever seen a ghost but i think i had and Alian experiance.I was back in new york it was about 4:00 in the morning i had been awoken at around2:00 because i thought i heard very hurryed foot steps(just me and my mom sleeping and my apartment was small)this sound was like someone running real fast on carpet.
So from then on i just stayed awake looking up at the roof.At 4:00 i started getting a weird feeling in my gut like that feeling you get when your about to go to the principals office and you know you did something you cant cry yourself out of.....inpending doom i guess you can call it.
So anyway i got this weird feeling and started to get really freaked out i heard creeks on the floor from the bathroom. Then all of a sudden this circular light just came across my two windows(covered in drapes) then the cups in the kitchen started to shake real bad and my floor started to vibrate...........then there was nothing.
My old apartment was 5 rooms including the bathroom and kitchen, living room and entryway. So me and my mom slept in the same room then the kitchen was seperated by a thin wall.
rhizome17 06-12-2002, 08:14:AM Interesting Fact: 100% of reported alien abductions have occurred in the USA.
One of my mates did his sociology Master's dissertation on the cultural sifnificance of Alien phenomena, and that was one of the interesting things he came across.
AhmedK 06-12-2002, 08:20:AM Wow thats very very interesting Rhizome..............so your saying Aliens are henchmen of Osama bin laden is this why they are after us??:o :D
Always hear stories................ the unknown........ oohhhh
Always provides those funny television shows........ always a crack up, once a tv presenter started crying at the end.
Any Aussies see that Warwick Moss show bout that South Australian town couple of years back. Total crack up. He got scared of his own torch in a mirror.:crazyboy:
