I got FIFA2000 for Christmas, but I've seen you folks have many different opinions about it. So please give me a hint, should I keep it or should I return it and keep playing FIFA99? Or should I buy another game?

View Full Version : Should I keep FIFA2000? J.Karlsson 25-12-1999, 03:11:PM I got FIFA2000 for Christmas, but I've seen you folks have many different opinions about it. So please give me a hint, should I keep it or should I return it and keep playing FIFA99? Or should I buy another game? Italy82 25-12-1999, 03:43:PM yes ,cause the fed2000 is coming out soon Bolso 26-12-1999, 02:55:AM Keep it, Fed2000 will let you edit almost anything you what. PolishPower 26-12-1999, 08:09:AM Return it for sure and get money or some other game instead!!! If you liked FIFA 99 I dont think you will like FIFA 2000 I hate it myself, I still play FIFA 99 too. Tell me do you like how players got fatigued in 99? there is no fatigue that has any impact on how the players play in 2000! did you like how the cpu would make substitutions on opposing team in 99, in 2000 they wont substitute ever. Now I also heard there are no injuries which carry over into next game! Did you like tough defenses and realistic scores? In 2000 you score average about 8 or 9 goals per game. What about rosters? now they are pathetic, 18 players max per team. Just say what you liked about FIFA 99 and I can tell you how they screwed that part in 2000. webwolf 26-12-1999, 09:55:AM Johan, Keep the game! (We can make another 70īs English league in that one, when the FEd2000 comes.) Keep in touch! J.Karlsson 26-12-1999, 07:33:PM The only things missing in FIFA99 are the seasons with both league, cup and European Cup in the same schedule. I also miss 2nd division teams which could be promoted for the next season. But that's it! Otherwise it's a great game! I was wondering...can you make the players' faces in FIFA2000 to look like they do in FIFA99? Cecco 27-12-1999, 02:59:AM Fed2000 can edit anything in the game but it won't be able to do anything about the PING PONG gameplay! TRUST ME and bring it back and if you own a playstation buy This Is Football or continue playing Fifa99 or WC98. edu 27-12-1999, 03:09:AM J.Karlsson if you dont want to open the box because you might not be able to return I suggest you download the demo and see if FIFA2k is worth keeping. No if you want my opinion you should return and get ISSS EVOLUTION OR TIS if you have a PSX. Neutral 27-12-1999, 04:57:AM Karlson - edu is completely correct - download the demo - if u can stand the gameplay (the graphics are gorgeous though) then open the box - if not return it, and if u have a PSX get ISS Evolution/WE4 and if u don't have a PSX....get Fifa98 RTWC or Fifa World Cup 98 - the best two games (IMO) in the fifa series, back when the programers cared about the product's GAMEPLAY.... PolishPower 27-12-1999, 06:52:AM Karlson you have cups and league in the same schedual but there are problems with it: 1. suspensions in league carry over into european cups and vice versa which is definitely not the case in real life. 2. you will not be able to control promoted teams, as matter of fact you can only control 1 team in season mode, unlike FIFA 99. 3. Your goal scoring table for each player only gives total goals, in other words there is no way to tell how many goals you scored in league and how many you scored in cups. |
