Darko, I actually did this sig for number 9 before and if you look on page one of this post this is the sig that he wanted. I know i just took the whole picture. but this is what he wanted and I feel unless done properly, cutting out the players from pictures looks tacky and unprofessional. Pictures of this size cannot be over complicated because they will not work.

Tacky and unprofessional :| ... i dunt think so .. i think it looks cheap when u just put the whole pic into the sig .. shows no work and lazyness to cut out the players :D

I do, and Fellachap is a graphic designer, so i think he knows a bit more about this stuff :)

Even though Savo's cuts arent best, i think hes sig is awright......

I dont like how you u put the Newcastle badge randomly, fellachap..... and in the 2nd sig, the transition between the two pics seems too rough.

i thought most of what i seen here was **** .. (no offence) ..

Savo : when i said that i thought cutting out the players looked unprofessional i was not directing that mainly at you. I can see you take care to do it properly. I like your sig and the others that you have made for other people. Doing that just isn't my style but I wasn't having a go. Just putting my point across

The two sigs that i made are rough two minute jobs. I submit rough copies so people can get an idea of what the final design will look like, then i go away and make the final design. I don't want to be wasting my time on a design that someone doesn't want.

So it wasn't really a rant. just making things a little clearer!!

If i didn't want to use your designs i wouldn't be using the one i'm using now.

Toon Army, that last bit wasn't aimed at you. It was a generalization of the graphic design world. You do lots of different quick designs and then go away and spend the time on the one that the client wants.

I have just opened up Photoshop so I try and give it a go now.

I'm sure your a great graphic designer, but Savo was a great help with the originel sig

heres an avatar for you. I used the shearer goal that he has called his best ever. I have to say that i regret using this as it was against my beloved Everton and has been the start of a bit of a slump. But i'm not one to bear a grudge :f***:

Thats good how do i use it?

right click on the image and click save as. Save it as what ever you want. Then go to you user cp, then goto options. At the bottom there is the option to change your avatar. Then at the bottom of that screen chose the option to import your own avatar. Find the file you downloaded on your hard drive and click okay and Viola. Tis done!!!!!!!

O ok .. what do u type in Shearer Goal?? or somting ??

exactly that yeah. It comes up with loads, well it did for me. It's just basically someone recording it off 'The Premiership' on ITV and sticking it on there. If you've got a TV card you could do it yourself.

The only problem is that obviously the file is an MPEG and you can only use a animated gif for the avatar. I use Adobe premiere to Convert it, i personally haven't found another programme to do it. But I guess I don't need to.
