Mallorca were at 2nd place in the primera liga and Real Madrid relling below the top 5 before the match and first half saw the two sides satnd at 1-1 with goals from Ronaldo ( a clinical finish ) and Samuel E'to .
Real Madrid were lacking the quality and mallorca were continously attacking them.
Little Argentinian Ibagaza was an eyesore to madrid in 1st half

2nd half and there was an absolute shift in power.
Real Madrid came out with all guns blazing and immediatley were back in the lead courtesy a goal from Ronaldo .
Then 2 goals from Raul and a goal from subsitute Guti sealed the match and Real MAdrid eventually won 5-1

If going by the second half performance of Madrid , Lokomotiv Moscow are in danger !

yeah! it's a shame that such a talented player can't even win a regular first team position.!!!!!!!!

yer Guti is usually a midfielder but can play up front, I reckon they should have it like this:

Midfield:
Zidane - Makelele - Figo
- Guti -
Forward
Raul - Ronaldo

with Guti as an attacking midfielder, it probably wouldn't work but Guti deserves more time on the field

Mcmanaman , F. Conceicao , Morientes , Pavon etc...
these guys have done nothing wrong but they mostly end up on bench/reserves.... this is one world class team !!

Guti is ok but Ronaldooooooooooooo is in form, man what a great goal was the 2nd (H), not to mention Raoul.
They are unstoppable when they play their game that's for sure.
Locomotiv is not an easy opponent so be carefull with what you're saying but I think they'll do well yes.

Yeah, overrated my arse! How many strikers can do that, with such speed and accuracy? I jumped off the couch with that one!

Also, Raul is getting back to his best form (always on the right spot), Figo FINALLY played like Figo, Zizou also had a good performance, Casillas is wearing superman's cape under his jersey, Makelele is a joy to watch and, above all, to say his name, etc., etc. I just hope they can play like this more oftenly (which they need to, if Real wants to catch Real Sociedad).

Totally agree with Infesta, but from the midfield and back Madrid is so weak. Whats up with Salgado, is he friends with the coach? He sucks, not only ate going foward but also defending.

He ****ing sucks, but at least Hierro is not playing. Also I dont understand why MacManam doesnt start. Oh and get ride of Makelele and put Guti in, I bet he can play better Midfield defence than makelele plus he can score

Guti is an attacking player and Makelele is a defensive midfielder and to keep the balance in favour they have Zizou and Figo whom we know will move forward

Well I know, but makelele doesnt have the skill to defend, he sux at it. He holds the ball to much and its a terible passer. I rather have gutti defending and fedding the ball to figo and zidane.

Real defence sux, it wont suck more if they swap makelele for guti
