View Full Version : ronaldinho gaucho
whuahu 10-12-2002, 07:35:PM ronaldinho gaucho, in my opinion, is one of the most skillful footballers in the world right now..... he had an amazing world cup for brazil, his performance was right up alongside the likes of rivaldo and ronaldo.....
so i'm surprised i've not heard of any potential transfers linked with his name.... any club will be lucky to have him, and it seems that he's not that happy at psg, and nor is the club doing all that well......
i think a move to spain will be absolutely brilliant.....
he's a class player.........
any thoughts???

Yeah, Brazil always produce world class talent. After the WC, he said that he would love to be at PSG for one more season, I guess that`s why there`s no rumour linked with him. But his relationship with his coach, Fernandez, well let`s just say there`s a little trouble. Fernandez keeps on switching his position, that really pisses Ronaldinho. I guess in a few weeks there will be a lot of rumours about him, especially in January, when the transfer windows open. Winning the WC at such a young age really proves a man`s quality, no doubt about Ronaldinho.
INFESTA 10-12-2002, 08:35:PM Well, I love to see him play, all that magic he does, but quit frankly, and I've seen a couple PSG games this season, he stays invisible for most part of the game. You look at the greats, Zidane, Becks, Henry, etc., and you actually see them on the pitch, looking for the ball, while R. seems pretty unaware of what's going on, almost feels like he's hiding... Maybe it was just on those games I watched, don't know...
whuahu 10-12-2002, 08:40:PM maybe the motivation is not there psg colours.......
for brazil he certainly looked inspired......
especially against england, it was a great game for him, in spite of the sending off....

actually ronaldinho isn't playing well this season, but i don't know if this is his fault or fernandez's fault. maybe both's
Digitarius 10-12-2002, 09:59:PM There were loads of rumours surrounding him after the World Cup, linking him to clubs such as Manchester United and Inter.
Now that he's unsettled at PSG a big move might be on the cards.
juventusita 10-12-2002, 10:01:PM As far as I know Ronaldinho is the player Lippi wants most and i've heard Juventus selling off Salas and going for Ronaldinho in January.
HydroElectric 10-12-2002, 11:21:PM Ronaldinho doesn't belong in the the French Ligue, let alone PSG...he's always on the ****ing bench. He should be playing in the EPL.

thats just the type of player he is .. he'll stay quite for 89 mins then bang! ur 1-0 down thanx to a great assist or goal from him .. thats what happened in the world cup aswell ... he was very quite IMO & then 2 moments of brilliance against england & 2 goals for brasil :rockman: pure class ...
i remember brasil came down for a friendly against australia in 99 i think it was at the MCG .. AUS were up 2-0 .. 90% of the crowd was with AUS .. actually i was the only one in my stand that was going for brasil .. the other brasilians were down behind the goals .. anyway ronaldinho came on starting tearing apart his right wing .. commentators didnt know wat was going on they had never heard of him before ( neither had i ) ... cross from denilson .. ronaldinho at the back post to head 1 in .. 2-1 .. moments later he beats 2 players & sends a great ball into the box for Fabio Jr to head in the equalizer :D 2-2 it finished .. i will never forget the day i witnessed that ronaldinho magic :mrpimp:

in fact, ronaldo is also this type of player. you won't always see him in building up the attack, but he can kill you at anytime
