Here is a break down of this team:

Van Der Sar - Along with Buffon and maybe Bartez the best in the tournment.

Japp Stam Most expensive defender
F DeBoer Captain looking to impress in what should be last tournment

Davids - Best Center Midfielder in world
Seedorf - Savior of Inter with injuries to Vieri and Ronaldo
Zenden/Overmars - Best Left wingers in Game

R De Boer and Cocu - Most versitile in Game today will play anwhere

Bergkamp and Klivert - Odds on favorites to win scoring title.

While I think Holland will win, don't count out France - they won the World Cup without a true striker, and now they'll have Anelka and Henry (who is absolutely amazing).

Didn't france have Henry, Trezeguet and Guivarch and Dugarry in the WC98 side.

ALSO DON'T COUNT OUT SPAIN TO BEAT HOLLAND.

Holland may be strong, but Spain is pumped after Real Madrid won the Champions League

Here are the boys:

. CAÑIZARES -> He's good I guess
. CASILLAS -> Coming really close to being the starting keeper...
. MOLINA
. ABELARDO -> He's been here for quite a while
. ARANZABAL
. HIERRO -> Now fully recovered, his direction of the team and his powerful shot will be a great advantage
. IVÁN HELGUERA -> Good defenseman
. MÍCHEL SALGADO -> Incredible pressuring abilities, and can go from defender to forward in a snap
. PACO
. SERGI
. VELASCO
. FRAN
. VALERÓN
. ENGONGA
. GERARD -> Valencia loser, but great player deserving to be on the national side
. GUARDIOLA
. MENDIETA
. J.ETXEBERRIA
. MUNITIS
. RAÚL -> Speed and accuracy, confidence with the ball, great scoring abilities
. URZAIZ
. ALFONSO

I'm counting on these guys to win. I want to see Spain at the top ;0)

HNAFC,
You're correct, but Henry was a winger,
Trezeguet hardly played, and Guivarch and Dugarry were (and still are useless) - remember the final, Guivarch could have had a hatrick - my grandmother could have scored on at least one of the chances he had.
Oh yes, and I forgot, Spain will be a favourite too.

Holland will win based on......????? I am waiting. Based on a team that has not won anything since the retirement of Gullit and Van Basten and their coach. Based on a coach with little experience, and who shows that he has little experience. Based on a coach who picks strikers based on Keegan like principles (YOU HAVE TO BE A MADMAN TO OMIT HASSELBAINK). Based on their present form. Based on their porous defence. Based on their loyalty to an "out-of-form" Bergkamp.

I think the parameters of form, pedigree, and selection ought to say that the winner emanates from Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, or France.

My picks are Norway and France.

Based on that kick-a$$ team that they got and also for their home advantage that counts a lot. Or you think France won because they were better than Brasil??. But anyways, I'll still root for Italia.

I know this is a long shot but you guys shouldn't count out England...they have a lot of unbelievably skilled players and have been looking good in current friendlies, other than the Malta game... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif

They say the Dutch want a championship. Spain's talking too, France wants a "double". They shouldn't waste their breath. This one is Denmark's.

Everybody always underrates Denmark, and we always come back giants. '92 was not a glitch, and all you French - let's not forget who gave you an exhausted Brazil in Mundial 98's final.

Denmark is lined up to be this tournament's Cinderella. We're in the Death Group, but we can beat any team hands-down.

I can't wait for Denmark-Holland, for the match-up of the two best Goalkeepers in the world.

which reminds me....can you tell me who, who the HELL is going to beat Schmeichel?

Denmark has the skills to beat anyone in their group. Holland and the Czecks, surely France.

We're in the best form, too; our last few formal games include beating Italy, IN Italy, to reach the playoffs vs Israel...
Which we won 8-0 on Aggregate....

You all watch out, the Danish Dynamite is going to nail Europe all over again.
