what do u guys think about CONCACAF trying to get a 4th spot for upcoming world cups?

personally, even though CONCACAF is my region, i wouldnt want a 4th spot cuz for starters the talent over here is in my opinion not all that great to deserve a 4th spot. WC after WC its been Mexico and USA, and until recently them plus a Central American/Caribbean team.

also, who would lose a spot to give them a 4th spot?

i think this would be a very bad decision by FIFA, but with them you never know.

No body would lose a spot because the winner now has to qualify rather than get auto entry thus 1 extra spot !

CONCACAF should not get an extra spot. I think 3 teams from this region, which is fairly strong, is fair enough. They have half-decent teams through the region and teams such as Mexico has had a long tradition in World Cup football.

The extra place could potentially go to, say, Asia if they combine with Oceania.

I personally just don't think the UEFA's numb er of spots is very fair. It show's an obvious bias in an International tournament.

The spots should be divided by the Number of participant countries in each association.

SO Asia would get a lot more spots. Tough.

Concacaf is good enough to get 3 spots, IMO. USA & Mexico are considered to be the top nations for this region in the WC since 1994. I think the 3rd spot is randomly taken by an unpredictable & a minnow side. However, Costa Rica & Jamaica were considered amongst the surprised teams / under dogs so far.
