I am delighted to announce that I will be updating Fifa99 online from now on. the address is still the same www.fifa99.net and I hope to raise the same interest and participation from visitors as before. Currently you can send files to steven@sportgaming.co.uk and they will appear on the soccergaming site.

Sportgaming will continue to provide new downloads for fifa98 and 2000, but now all my fifa99 work will be featured on Fifa99 online.

for everyone else, I have already uploaded details of this patch which looks as though it could be one of the best patches in the history of Fifa99 online.

I still think that there are a lot of people playing Fifa 99 out there, but with the site not being updated for so long and the forum activity taking a huge fall since, it is just a matter of letting them all know.

You're absolutely right and I'll try to finish this patch as quick as it's possible...

Unfortunately at the minute I do not have the time to start on a new roster update. I am currently working on a set of kits for an upcoming patch, and this is taking up a lot of my time, especially over xmas. But once this is done, if you can get hold of the squadlists etc for the patch, then I will be happy to have a go at it

If u could provide basic details (such as strngpoint and weaknesses) of players not featured in the original db, then this would help enormously, but don't worry if not, as I'll just use trial and error.

I can do it with some player, and also provide a zip file with the teams rosters and kits.

The patch would be made a lot better if someone could make the kits etc, as while I'm updating the rsoters things such as this would majorly delay the release.

This is looking great, but as I said beforeI will have to finish the kits that I am working on 1st before even thinking about starting on the rosters, so if anyone else wishes to take up the job then please go ahead, but if not then I will still do it, but it won't be for a while.

Especially with me moving the fifa99 files from the sportgaming to soccergaming servers in the near future.

is this acceptable for everyone else, as this would get the patch to be even larger, then we could put the kits as a seperate patch, making them optional for those people who are interested in updating the brazilian league only.

This would alos mean a quicker availablility of the patch

I've downloaded this Word docs with teams squads and I'm currently updating Brasiliero in my own patch.

Yes this is combining the 2 patches, but no details will be lost apart from possibly the kits, which could be downloaded in a seperate download (unless dzony is planning on using them), thus making the option of getting the complete patch as it would have been before.

To reduce confusion in the future an alternative name should possibly be used as it is not just Poland being updated.

What about, the Alive patch, as there is a good chance that this will be the 1st patch since Fifa99 online was live again

I can't add more due to there are other important teams.

If it is needed I will create an optional addon which will replace other clubs to make a complete brazillian league.

as for the kits, I think that the best thing will be to include all the kits in a seperate download, unless dzony can implement them into his patch, or maybe just some of them.

I think Brazilian kits should be included in another download, because I've made all 64 jerseys for my patch so there is no space.

To dzony : Don't worry man. Probably I will not use the Polonian kits on my Fifa, then I just put the Brazilians in it's place.

I think you will have to replace another league to make the brazilian league , cause if u just add teams to the league, season mode wont work!

yes, I will stick with the 8 teams edited by dzony, but will add the others into another country, so that you can create a custom league with all the teams

Maybe there are but I cant start my work again! Ive updated almost 75% of Fifa 99 squads. :p
