I've noticed that the AI on the computer version is set up to play "catch up" when you've got a lead against a good team, so once you've achieved a lead, your players start losing the ball more frequently and can't tackle as well, and worse, play miserable defense. Is there any particular formation that works best for defense (even in the defensive mode of 4-4-2, I find my AI defenders turning their backs on the attacker).

5-3-2, use wingers as wingbacks. Failing that a 3-5-2 defensive should do it.

Lukas: re 10-0-0 defense: well, that gives me two defenders, what do I do with the other 1000 players?
