Bought Fifa 2003 a couple of weeks ago and I'm very disappointed. I just don't see enough improvements in gameplay when I compare it with (for example) Fifa 96. I'm even often wondering if any of the developers ever played football.

This time the interception of passes sucks big time (my defenders always miss the ball, and it just ain't my skill because my friends also complain about it). And why the hell can't I perform a header when I'm standing alone?

My keeper does stupid things on corners. He leaves his goal (too late off course :() even when i don't push any buttons and this can be very annoying. Last time I gave away a 2-0 lead because my keeper made this misjudgement two times in a row.

Player stats are sometimes hilarious (Aruna of Anderlecht is a right wing attacker, not a central defender). Tactics are even worse (they were much better in Fifa 2002).

6 years ago, when somebody asked me what the best football game was, I answered: Fifa, no doubt about it. Now I just can't say that any longer.

it has evolved, but not as fast,

but the evoultion from 2k2 to 2k3 is far greater

Than what you saw over a few years from 96 to 2000

i think its to do with the next gen consoles thats made the fifa we know change so much

I saw an interview with a FIFA developer, and he actually played football, in Kaiserslautern. :crazyboy: But he's working for EA since previous year, so 2003 is his first game, and he said that he has made the basic for the next FIFA games.

EA sports' NHL crew doesnt play hockey and doesnt even look at hockey.:kader: , maybe look at it, but prb not liking it seems :p

This is a bug in the PC Version of FIFA 2003... on PS2, X-Box, etc. you can ;)

Actually you cant't. I think it's only in 2 player mode it works....
