Microsoft makes the best gamepad's IMO.

Then Thrustmaster.

One of Microsoft's or Thrustmaster's.

And then pick the one you like and that feels good in your hand. UBS port is also a good thing, much faster. then game port.

Just dont buy an old one with like 3 buttens :) You pretty much need 6 Action buttens for most of the games. Also try to get one with point finger buttens. Hope that helps :)

I used to have a Gravis Eliminator aftershock which was cool but it passed away not long ago.I then bought a Logitech Wingman Cordless which is superb. Both pads are great and work perfectly with Fifa.It depends on your budget though. If you can stretch to it go for the Logitech. My Gravis pad died because the wire to the USB became damaged from prolonged use, with the cordless this doesn't happen !

I have the Thrustmaster Firestorm Wireless gamepad. It has 6 normal buttons, 4 shoulder buttons plus 4 underneath the gamepad. Being wireless, means you don't have to sit directly in front of the screen and play - I play on my bed, which is far more comfortable.

Sorry, I forgot to say that it has the normal D-pad plus the dual analog thingy.

Van Baston, did u get the 2nd dpad to work in Fifa 2003? I had it working with my Dual Power, but cannot get it to work with the cordless.
