What do you guys think about which teams should be improved and which ones should be cut down to size in CM4? In my opinion, teams like Roma and Man U, while world class sides in real life are simply too good in CM 01-02. Roma hardly has a player with an average below 7.50 in 01-02, while this season in Serie A they are in 12th place last time I checked? Any other thoughts on this issue boys?

I agree Roma are too good. I expect Arsenal will be very near unbeatable. I would also like to see Bayer Leverkusen dramatically improved.

Roma have changed in form very dramatically. They were nearly unbeatable but they have poor recently

Arsenal will take there form in the early parts of the seaosn into the game.

Apart from that in CM4 I think that Brazil will change in strength, lower that is and teams like Roma will keep there strength of prevoious games as well as Bayern

is anyone using patch 3.9.68?
Things are much changed, and rosters & are up 2 date (2002/3)
Roma is not the best team in the game after this patch, and this guy madeira doesn't exist, so many of you who don't want him coz he doesm't exist in reality are going to be happy

I raised a thread some time back claiming Milan would be best.

Think of the team CM wise:

Kaladze, Maldini, Nesta, Simic, Roque Junior, Laursen, Helveg, etc.

Rivaldo, Seedorf, Gattuso, Redondo, Ambrosini, Serginho, Pirlo, Rui Costa, etc.

Shevchenko, Tomasson, Inzaghi, etc.

With that sort of team they should be.
Theres one problem with my game, I can't patch it!
I'll have a fiddle about tonight but changing file paths can be very tricky :p

I think they will.

For some reason on my game Arsenal did really bad last season!! Man Utd won the league by 21pts, in second was my brothers team Norwich, 2004.

TROD.

I guesss we'll see the best teams when CM4 is released. Patience is the key.

Actually Real Madrid gets no credit in CM. They don't come close to winning Champions League in any of my games in CM. Also, I think the gap between the world class teams and good teams should be closed a little. Roma, for example, could be almost unbeatable in any competition, no matter what your team was.

Some that stand out to me:

England - Man U (not as dominate), Arsenal (improved), Chelsea (improved), Leeds (Venables wrecked), Man City (improved), Southampton (improved)

Italy - Chievo (improved greatly), Juventus (improved slightly), Inter (improved slightly), Milan (improved a bit), Roma (decreased), Parma (decreased), Lazio (improved)

Netherlands - PSV and Feyenoord (improved slightly), Ajax (major improvement)

Germany - Bayern (decreased), Leverkusen (improved slightly)

Spain - Real (major improvement), Deportivo (improved), Barcelona (decreased), Valencia (improved), Sociedad (improved greatly)

Also on Spain, I think the league as a whole should be better.

Valencia should be improved. They have the best organised team in the world right now, and players like Pellegrino, Baraja, Canizares, Curro Torres, Rufete and Carew should be improved much! It's strange that they haven't got a better team since they got to the Champions League-final two years in a row...

Barcelona and Bayern are too good.

I normally average 15 shots against them they have 1, I lose 1-0 :(

I expect Valencia to be very good. Totti to dive more. Oh, and lot's of people lobbing Seaman. Ewww! :D
