Hello everyone. I am currently playing FIFA99, NHL 2000, & Nascar2 on my Pentium 200 system. The action is very choppy and I'm looking to improve it w/o buying another sytem. Is a 3d accelerator the way to go? If so what are some recommendations as far as the best, most versatile cards for the best price? As you can tell I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these type products so any help is greatly appreciated. Feel free to e-mail me with any recommendations. Thanks.

If you're only using the 3dfx card for Fifa 99 a Voodoo 2 will be fine!! Í admit it is an old card but for Fifa 99 an excellent and fast card. You will not find it in the regular shops, but maybe if you find hard you can get it for a verry loooooow price.

If you want to use it also for other games now or in the future, a TNT 2 or a Voodoo 3 is recommandeble. The TNT 2 is a little faster. Some will say it's not. But......it's all up to you!!!!!

I don't know about Voodoo 3... I'm running it and the official EA Sports patch causes all sorts of problems - the game crashes and there're all sorts of "shadows" which are annoying. I'd get TNT - more are supporting it better.
