I've got Bayern away in the first round of the German Cup. juventusita 25-01-2003, 12:46:AM :rockman: juventusita 25-01-2003, 01:29:AM Incredible win at Olympiastadion. :mrpimp: But I get another terrible draw as I travel to Leverkusen next round. juventusita 25-01-2003, 02:40:AM The giant killers: Round Two. :mrpimp: juventusita 25-01-2003, 04:17:AM Too lazy to get a screenshot right now, but I am currently 12 wins, 2 draws, and 0 losses. I'm over the second placed team by more than 12 points. In the third round of the German Cup (after away victories at Bayern Munich and Leverkusen) and the third round of the UEFA Cup (fixtures against Galatasaray) coming up. My free transfer signings have been the difference in the season so far. TottiNZidaneR#1 25-01-2003, 07:52:AM looks likes its going good for u. Beatin Bayer and Leverkusan is hard. and it semms like u r great at the game so i will predict that u will come out as winner. juventusita 26-01-2003, 12:21:AM THE BOYS DO IT AGAIN! juventusita 26-01-2003, 12:31:AM UEFA Cup Semifinal Draw Chelsea v Inter Union Berlin v Deportivo juventusita 26-01-2003, 12:42:AM Champions after only 28 games: :mrpimp: Now we can focus on the UEFA Cup and the German Cup final. juventusita 26-01-2003, 01:43:AM The double completed in style: juventusita 26-01-2003, 01:59:AM Union Berlin's majestic season comes to close, but with an outstanding ending. The Belarusian double from Nikiforenko (who else?) and Vyajevich was too much for Chelsea even with Zola's 53rd minute strike. The only question now is will Berlin be able to live up to the huge expectations that follow the treble? juventusita 26-01-2003, 03:26:AM Unrelated, but, Spain won the World Cup after beating MEXICO in a penalty shootout. Third place was Italy after beating SOUTH KOREA in the third place playoff. Sir Calumn 28-01-2003, 07:54:PM Hi there, Could you please post a screen shot of your first and second season transfers in and transfers out screenies (four screens in total). Thanks, Calumn juventusita 29-01-2003, 12:59:AM I use a newer update, went into debt during the first season but the money from winning league, UEFA Cup, German Cup pulled me up until I sold off Umit Davala for 10 million. My team started off with about 7 million in fiances, all of which my board let me use. Now in late 2003 I have about 18 million/11 million for transfers... juventusita 29-01-2003, 01:01:AM . juventusita 29-01-2003, 01:03:AM How much money does no update start Berlin off with? quackers 29-01-2003, 02:57:AM Everyone else started with just over 1million mate but the rules state if you have an update you may use it. My question however is... if you started with £7million and in your 1st season got £2.1mil through the transfers out. This totals £9.1mil. Now gate reciepts etc are crap at union and do not cover union's running cost so how on earth do you muster up another £6million pounds in your first couple of months in the game, signing on fees not even included! Raith Rovers 29-01-2003, 03:28:AM just do what all the real managers do, pay for the players over 2 years  juventusita 29-01-2003, 07:26:AM Originally posted by quackers Everyone else started with just over 1million mate but the rules state if you have an update you may use it. Now gate reciepts etc are crap at union and do not cover union's running cost so how on earth do you muster up another £6million pounds in your first couple of months in the game, signing on fees not even included! The signing bonuses were pretty cheap. I would estimate I paid no more than 250k? I was pretty far into debt and the board was upset until I won. My finances to this day are pretty slim even with CL, etc. If I would have thought to take a picture of the finances then I would have. I guess I should have realized 7 million was far too much compared to everyone and I know that this is a far unfair advantage so I am pulling myself out of the competition. This will save any argument or whatever would come about and that's not what i'm after, especially as I see this only as a fun competition. Maybe I will start a new game and with editor set the funds to 1 million pounds.. or seeing as I just downloaded the new cmsorted (I was using a different "brand" of update before) I might try that out. But, I am having a lot of fun with my Berlin game so I will probably keep playing it. Like I said though, I withdraw from the competition just because I had an unfair advantage over all. Good luck. voetballiefhebb 30-01-2003, 09:47:AM 1M :o I am pretty sure I started the game 975k in debt. However, I play so much CM, I maybe wrong. :) Sir Calumn 30-01-2003, 06:56:PM Starting with £7m is a huge advantage but I, rather stupidly I guess, said that the game could be played with any unadjusted updates and it would not be fair for me to change it now so you may continue if you like Juventuista. -C |
