Hi again..
I found a working solution for the MS Sidewinder Gamepad (USB)for WinXP (should be work with Win9x, too):

- Start REGEDIT
- Search for: "Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad, Version 1.0 (USB)"
- Change it into: "Microsoft SideWinder game pad" where ever
you find it and changing is possible
- add this to your config.dat, located in
\ea sports\fifa2003\data\system:
"Microsoft SideWinder game pad" 10 "Microsoft SideWinder game pad" 10 1 2 3 4 6 5 7 8 9 10
- start fifa and configute your gamepad. if you can't configure it
within fifa, try to change the numbers in the line above (10 = 10
keys, 2=shooting etc. :-)
