May I first say I love this idea and its going to be great seeing how other's career paths span out with Union Berlin over the coming months

I started when I got home yesterday(20/1/03) at 17:30. I finally turned the game off at 00:10 after over 6hrs of continuous playing. Today I regret that because I am very tired but its worth it!

I'm seven games short of completing the first season currantly 5points clear at the top. Knocked out in German cup 1st round to a last minute goal against Werder. Reached the Uefa cup Quater final to be beaten 6-1 on agg by Milan.

Dont know about everyone else but my team are precariously in the red cash wise with a very crappy wage structure that has seen a lot of quality targets bugger off else where!

I will post my screenshots later on tonight if I can successfully turn on the pc without going straight to CM. For some reason the internet was plaing up and I was in at 07:30 this morning so my priority was sleep last night!

I'll keep you all posted folks and wish you all good luck!

I'd also like to add I hate the German FA!!! On three seperate occasions in my first season they have extended my players suspensions after recieving red cards. When Marco Negri punched somebody they slammed a six game ban on top of the one he was already out for!! Now thats a bit off if you ask me.

Also I'd like to say I'm gutted after over 6hrs continuous play last nite, someone beat me out of Div2 I was hoping for the accolade of first in Div1. But not to worry because by 18:00 this evening I should be there too... I'm sooo excited!

LOL they are a bit dodgy but fine for the purpose.

Any PhotoEd software should be able to take them though.

Well lads I'm now in the first division and I'm telling you the t.v. money came just in the knack of time. It has funded deals for maxim wots his face, mark kerr, ibrahim said, fredrik risp, tommy smith and a couple of others. Hopefully, everything going good I should make mid table in season two and season 3 I can begin to bring in top quality players! Wish me luck!

Well its going ok, you win some and you lose some but mainly I draw. If Bosnich gets sent off once more I'll be fairly annoyed. I'm 9th after 9 games so we are on target for a successful season and still in the German cup so a bit better than last year! I'd like to push for a Euro place this year and results like this one certainly make it seem like a distinct possibility!!! Billy McKinley may be a bit out of his depth though despite being recalled to the Scotland squad.

The board put in 3500 seats at the start of the second season and I forgot to mention it. Takes my capacity upto 21'000 something or other! And in div1 near enough every game sells out!!!

With season two now drawing to a close in my game I can only hang my head in shame. The summer is all about defence for me and next season I will hopefully have a new back 4 because this lot didnt cut it! With four games remaining I was 1point off with the first division title in sight but some very bad results including throwing away a 3-0 lead to drop two points made me finish 5th. Oh well just the small matter of a German Cup Final against Dortmund to get my hopes up for now!!!

Ok this is getting pretty damn desperate I'd be interested to know how everyone else'e financial situation is going because My Union are nowŁ7mil in debt and the board dont seem best pleased. I'm considering selling Niki to secure the clubs immediate future but the board seem to eat money!!! after a pretty dismal season 3 I finished mediocre 7th in the league. Got to the quater final of the German cup. Semi final in the uefa cup to lose on away goals after a 6-6 agg result against Inter. I'm trimming the squad size down some what to save wages and refused the temptation to sign Ernst Faber and Nicolas Amoroso on free transfers because of wage and signing on fee demands. A lot of my players need cracts renewing soon and signing on fees will be huge stumbling blocks for Tsigalko, Niki, Lunden, Tommy Smith and the likes. So the next couple of seasons are gonna be tricky times. incoming on respectable wages the only two editions are Josef El Dana from Swedish football (god bless swedish football) and Emil Debski. Heres hoping season four is a bit more productive
