now back to reality...Sweden, Germany, Iceland and France are very though competitores, and should be interesting to watch them play, of course one of them should be the winner :p

We lost yesterday to Iceland by a one goal margin. :( Damn it, that game was crucial for us. We'll settle for the 7th place, which means a direct qualification for the Olympic games.

Germany has been very impressive. That crazy tattooed guy they have is awesome! Very fun to watch.

I got free tickets for the games played in Póvoa de Varzim. I'll see if I go to a game this weekend.
Btw, have you guys seen the Póvoa pavillion? That's where I played basketball with my team last year! Actually, we practiced there everyday and played in our very own (a bit worse). (H)

Well, only my finger slipped somewhere, I didn't do that. Yet, I am low on sleep and have had a trip to the country so I'll undo the stickyness.

I expected much more myself. Germany is one of the top 3 teams of the world, but still...
Our players were kind of nervous, and we had a terrible start. We never found ou pace and made a lot of crucial mistakes. At some point it was obvious that the team stopped believing and then we gave up.

We're in serious trouble now. :|

We draw vs Yugo 31-31 and so we're in the semi final (H)

I must say we suck. :)

The problem with the portuguese players, in any sport, is their heads. They totally crack under pressure. We lost the game against Yugo in the first 5 minutes. We reached the half time with just SEVEN goals! :|
On the second half, with the idea in mind that we were going to lose, the players freed themselves of the pressure and made a comeback, only to lose by 2 goals...
This is so frustrating, especially bcs I'm one of those guys who performs better when the game is on the line.

We are going to be between the 8th and 12th spot. We beat Tunis by a goal, with our gk defending a 'penalty' after the time expired! (H)
And that bcs our captain lost the ball in a stupid blunder, with 10 seconds to go... :kader:

Holy sh!t! I haven't been watching TV alot lately, nor do i visit this particualr forum alot, so i didn't find out that Croatia was in it at all, until my parents notified me of Denmark-Croatia match..............and that semi-final versus Spain!? Damn that was nervewrecking................my heart was beating really fast! :crazyboy: (H)

And now the final, 34-31! YEAH BABY! The Underdogs from Croatia did it! :mrpimp:

The best thing is, that's a relatively young team, so we still have a few good years to come.....:rockman: :hump:
