View Full Version : Please Join the Neville Support Group
Neutral 20-06-2000, 09:47:PM Hi, my nick's Neutral, some of you may have seen me on the forum before, and if so you would have seen my scathing criticism of the Neville Brothers - as I said before - they are pants. Gary is slower than cold molasses, while is brother Phil makes Liverpool's weak link Dom 'Cr@ppola' Matteo look like Roberto Carlos on steroids. Every game this tournament Gary and Phil have been victimized - Contra, Figo, Moldovan, Pinto, Deisler - to name but a few have had fun with the Nevilles. They have made a once strong England defence look more shaky than George Best after a night at the pub.
But I do not place the blame with them - they can't help it if they're cr@p - no this is Keegan's fault. He had a sinister plot to humiliate them by making them start for England and, inevitably, play like rehabs. Anyways, I have decided to start the Neville Brothers Support Group to raise money for the Neville brothers so that they may start a pub, or some other sort of business to support themselves when Fergie gets better defenders. Phil is United's 3rd choice (behind Irwin and Silvestre - but somehow he can start for the national team), while Gary will soon be gone if United by Thuram - or United play another south american team.
Please give generously.
Also, please help England find a decent left footed left winger - we 'only' have a population of 60 million - so if you happen to be a left footed Englishman please send a resume or CV to the football association and I'm sure you can slot right into the national squad.
Cheers,
Neutral
Neutral 20-06-2000, 10:26:PM What? (cough) No sympathy for the poor Nevilles?
Schumacher 20-06-2000, 10:27:PM If there was one man who had to give away a penalty it had to be Mr P Neville. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAPP CRAP PLAYER.
a_shearer 20-06-2000, 10:28:PM Kill them. Feed them to the hooligans that will certinetly riot mercilessly.
Anyone care to join me in trying to shoot down England's plane tomorrow?
Neutral 20-06-2000, 10:33:PM Breathe Shearer, breathe. I'm upset too - no need to be offensive to Mrkovic et al - let them gloat- England lost and we were crap, Romania were a much better side, so were Portugal - even if we had of tied Italy would have beat Keegan's 11 soundly.
Drinky UKSN 20-06-2000, 10:34:PM Time for Neutral and I to put on smug looks. Since the end of May we've been saying over and over again how Phil Neville (and of course, Gary) would come back to haunt England, and here is that moment. Hopelessly outclassed by a player once rejected by Coventry, he then saw fit to hack him down cynically anyway. Lets not demonise him for one incident though - lets demonise him for the many, many other times when he has completely failed and had to be rescued by another player (or not, as in the case of the second Portugese goal).
Le Saux, Thatcher and Barry loom large over these two. If they are still in the England squad to play Germany in October, I shall despair. A Man Utd shirt is not a reason to get caps for England (see also Nicky Butt).
BigMac 20-06-2000, 11:54:PM I would like donate more than the Nevilles are actually worth.
Please give me the address i should send my one cent to. Thank You.
Schumacher 20-06-2000, 11:58:PM Damn Phil, shouldn't have started. Somebody said he was behind Silvestre in the Man U. lineup - now I see why!
Kids - follow Neutral's breathings techniques. I used to be a rational person before I insulted Mrkovic, and now I've offended everyone. Just relax after the game, have a beer, and NEVER, NEVER come onto this forum until well after that crucial game has been lost...
a_shearer 21-06-2000, 12:14:AM I think thats a good idea Schumachar.
Sometimes their anti-English posts can piss me off when I'm in a good mood. Never mind an hour ago.
Wayneunique 21-06-2000, 12:25:AM The only reason the Nevilles were in the England team is that they looked half decent when playing for Man Utd, blimey my Girlfriend would look half decent if she had Giggs and Beckham playing front of her.
I hope and pray that these two pratts will never ever play for England again, we have to draft in the youngsters now as at least they will have the hunger. The English players have let the whole country down, not one player can honestly say that they had played at least one good game.
We was poor against Portugal, we was poor against Germany and we was s**te against Romania, we fully deserve to be out of the competition. It is time to start afresh and bring in new young faces, how Frank Lampard, Keron Dyer and Trevor Sinclair did not get in the England is beyond belief.
Now lets make the Nevilles lives hell.......
Wayne (I would be proud to play for my country).
it's time to give everybody a chance..all the players in EURO2000 had their chances and they all sucked big time!
phillips, fowler, andy cole, joe cole, dyer, james, sinclair, lampard, they all MUST have their chances..who knows maybe they have got more potential than these soft asses we've got!
Kevin_SG 21-06-2000, 03:55:AM I felt that Gary Neville didn't play that bad, and Phil Neville, he is still young and will develop, but had no reason to be starting for the English Sqaud...I don't know why Keegan would take off Owen instead of Shearer, he treated Owen like a piece of garbage all tournament...Keegan is going to get sacked the minute he gets back to England...
Fat Bhoy Tim 21-06-2000, 05:20:PM I've always hated Phil Neville.
Gary i don't mind - what other decent RB is there ??
But at LB - Le Saux is much better (is he injured??)
Phil Neville has now added to his repertoire.
Last minute of a big game.Your a goal down.
Time for one shot. He's clean through on goal.Only the keeper to beat.
(beginning to sound like CM3)
And he swings it wide of the keeper. The crowd groan...you've experienced the Phil Neville EFFECT http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Now the 90th minute game loseing penalty can be added...90th minute (is this a pattern forming)
Neutral 21-06-2000, 10:03:PM re: other decent RB's
Rio Ferdinand
Kieron Dyer
Steven Gerrard (he can play there too)
Gareth Southgate
Lee Dixon
What manager in his right mind would pick GARY NEVILLE over any of these guys? Oh yes, that's right - Kevin 'Pot Smoker' Keegan.
Woody_007 21-06-2000, 11:18:PM Too bad.
