Pretty Good teams: Italy, Romania, Yugoslavia, Czech Republic
Good to medium teams: Turkey, Spain and Slovenia
Disappointmens: Belgium, Sweden, England, Germany, Denmark, Norway

Toldo-Thuram-Nesta-de Boer-Conceicao-Rui Costa-Davids-Zidane-Nedved-Milosevic-Henry

Where is Figo? I feel he deserves to be on the all-team...

Yeah, Have Figo for that lumbering, arguementative, over-rated, over-aggressive Davids (ok - mabey i over-exagerate, but he lets down what would be a good Dutch team)

I know swapping a defensive midfileder for an attacking one would change the team balance, but it would be more exciting

Chrishaz ..... did you see Davids today?? He is perfect for that midfield. But loose Nedved and put in Figo. I think Barthez or Van Der Sar has had a better tournement so far than Toldo.

Same goes for Toldo. I don't say this because he plays for my team, but with any other goalie Italy would have drawn with Belgium and Sweden. Seen that save on Andersson? This was the best save of the 1st round.

I know England and Slovenia have been eliminated, but surely Beckham, and Zahovic should be on any best 11 so far.

I agree that Kluivert is by far the better striker, but in the 1st round Milosevic was better.

hOW can u compare Kluivert to van Basten ?Van Basten was a former 30 goal scorer in serie A,not many have done that especially that serie A is considered as a defensive league .When Kluivert was with Milan ,he didnt score half of his goals and probably never will .He had trouble even scoring 15 goals in the spanish league .He is another overrated player .

Yes, Savo Milosevic is excellent, no matter what team he plays in, he always hits the target at every possible opportunity.

Kuivert was 21 when at Milan. Van Basten was 24 when he played his 1st full season. Van Basten played in the best Milan squad's ever, Kluivert's team finished not even in the UEFA cup.

And I did not say Kluivert is nearly as great as Van Basten (although he is a top-striker to me), I JUST SAID THAT SOON, AND AT ONLY 24, HE WILL BE HOLLAND'S ALL TIME GOAL SCORING LEADER.

So what you're sayin if a club has 3 world class offense players, one of them won't score many goals? To you Kluivert is one of the best in the world, I think he is too, but he isn't better than Milosevic. If he was he would score much more goals, WITH PLAYERS THAT TAKE A GOOD PART OF OFFENSE, LIKE VAN BASTEN DID!! Umm, first think then talk, in this case type. Milosevic was better than Kluivert in this tournament and in the Spanish league this season, so don't deny it!

Emerson: no need to get ru(u)de. Gullit usually maxed out at 10 goals per season for Milan. Donadoni's average was 2, same for Rijkaard.

The reason why Van Basten got to score that many goals was because he often was their sole striker, and he played ahead of 3 offensive midfielders/wingers, who didn't really shoot the ball that well.

I admit that my phrase was not very luckily chosen, what I mean is that Rivaldo and Figo take up a good part of goalscoring.

You seem to think: Oh, just put in Batistuta, Ronaldo and Vieri and they'll alone score 60 goals. That is crap, as they take away shots from each other. If we'll see fully healthy Vieri and Ronaldo next year, I am sure that one will score 15 and the other 20, not more. If you play Vieri OR Ronaldo with let's say Pirlo up fornt, then and only then he'll give you over 25 goals.

It depends on who is the 1st option, and at Barca Rivaldo is the 1st man, so you can't compare that.

Oh yes, Paolo Rossi: Kluivert had 13 goals in his last 14 caps (or something like that).

Hey dork,Kluivert will never be the dutch greatest scorer ,he is crap with barca .All Barca's goals were mostly scored by rivaldo .Kluivert will never score more than 15 goals in a season .He was the reason why barca got kicked by Valencia .If they had a better striker than him,Barca would of won the CL.
