We were through for 95 minutes, but still, we're out. The worst thing is, we didn't get to show that we really can play football. I know most of you are happy now that Norway didn't qualify, but seriously, I don't think anyone deserves to go like that. I mean, when our match vs. Slovenia were finished, we were through to the quarter-finals. Yugoslavia were in the lead with 3-2 over Spain. And then, they showed live pictures from the rest of Yugo-Spain. Spain had got a penalty. Still, we were there even with 3-3. But then came the man that will always be known to me as "The White-footed Slayer"(or something, anyway), and I had to watch it. I had to watch Norway being kicked out of Euro2000, 5 minutes into injury time. Man, that was surreal. In the most negative way. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif

Congratulations! now you know how Morocco felt during WC98...(by the way, funny how sometimes what goes around comes around, eh?)

norwegians must be ashamed of their selves really!
the reason is because they have the most boring type of football which never takes u anywhere, this is unfair for all the brilliant players they have, that's what really hurts!
morocco in the WC98 won 3-0 and didn't qualify, so it's ur turn guyz, btw if u can't score against slovenia then i don't think ur good enough to go anywhere.

Brazil lost to Norway because:

---they didn't care about the game much and the game with Morocco didn't was not a game you would call "friendly"; a lot of hard tackling and miss-calles from Levnikov (russian referee) really made Brazil un-friendly to Morocco)


---the ref from USA called a last-minute penalty. If there was a dirty bring-down (although i doubt it), Brazilian defender did it on purpose -- so that Morocco would be out.

Russian Rocket: Possibly, but that was a penalty. Some other TV-channel had some pictures that showed Junior Baiano almost tearing Flo's shirt off. BTW, Brazil would have been more than happy to win that match, since they wanted revenge from a loss in '97.
