Konami do place certain characteristics like how someone may take a free kick, celebrate after scoring a goal, how they take a shot and some other minor details. Overall though, instead of using special moves, Konami are able to make the player feel as if they are really playing with Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo, etc, in the way the player moves and their agility and how they play on the pitch. It's actually quite amazing sometimes, and will be once someone gets to experience it for themselves! Han 03-02-2003, 03:57:PM Well, it is kind-of adding some qualities (read attributes) of a player which make him dribbling different than other players. For instance, if you have no close control (dribbling accuracy, technique) but you have a lot of dribbling speed, you see some players kick the ball somewhat further forward when dribbling than a player like Zidane, for instance. So depending on factors like ball control, speed etc. a player dribbles different. So you have countless dribblings! It definitely depends on your style of play and skills as well obviously. For me personally, Totti was great. I actually used him mostly as a CF when I was playing WE6. Initially he used to run rings around my defence. I normally try to man-mark him with a DH. Since then I've managed to keep him quiet. |
