Costinha lifted FC Porto with 2 goals in 2 minutes, right before half time, giving us the lead, in an exciting match that ended with a 5-3 victory! Eight goals. Some of them were great. One of them was FANTASTIC! If you can, check out Costinha's first goal. 'Nuff said.

And talking about great goals, our league had its fair share this week: Braga's was good, Jardel's 1st was beautiful... The man is back, with a hat-trick.

look @ my sig, because it is not going down until FC Porto loses in the SuperLiga (which is far from super, even Sporting supporters can agree w/ me on that 1). every year, they [benfica] disappoint, prolly the most overrated club side in all of europe. i wont be suprised if the "Super Dragoes" (cant get the tilde over the o, any assistiance will be appreciated) win the SuperLiga by 20, hell maybe even 25 points and clinch the title before Easter. i also see Camacho on his way out, because i just can't see benfica qualifying for even the uefa cup. THE PROBLEM @ BENFICA IS THAT WE LIVE ON PAST GLORY, AND HAVE DONE SO FOR THE BEST PART OF THE LAST DECADE. the goal for 2003/2004 for SLB should be just to finish in the top half, and anything else should be a bonus. just give Deco, Hélder Postiga, Nuno Valente, and the rest of them the trophy now, and declare the remaining 14 rounds redundant.

FC Porto has been by far superior to Benfica this year and they totally deserve the Liga title and the Cup. I am a huge Benfiquista and I'll admit it. This doesn't mean you have to get pissed. Benfica is not the most overrated side in Europe, I'm sorry, people on these forums consider us to be **** cause we haven't been in Europe for a while. Jesualdo Ferreira at the helm ****ed up our season (so did the refs) but we can't go back in time and correct it so we have to live with it. Camacho is an excellent manager and is undefeated in Liga play, its not his fault Nuno Gomes won't score and that the best striker in Portugal is out for the rest of the season (Mantorras). Yes this season has been dissapointing from a Benfiquistas point of view, since we did sign many players in the off-season but a true supportter will stick with their club through the highs and lows. Unfortunately Benfica is going through one of their worst times ever, but just remember that Benfica will be the best side in Portugal/Europe once again!

Actually, Moreirense had the best chances. They could have finshed the game when they were 1 up, and then, after Simão's goal, they had another clear chance. This is one great counter-attacking team, and I know what I'm saying, because I saw them beating my FC Infesta here by 3-0, all in counter-attack, in the 2nd Div. B decider, 2 years ago. :f***:

Anyway, the problem with Benfica is the players' attitude: they don't run, don't find a passing lane, don't pressure... Have you seen Porto play this season? They're the opposite.
On top of that, we have the journalist vultures, who really get on my nerves. A couple weeks ago they were treating Camacho as the world's 8th wonder, and now they're already kicking the man out of the pedestal they put him in, by saying he's not that good, the team sucks, etc. There's nothing as big as a jounalist's ego.

Did we do that bad?

I know what your talking about when you say our players don't run. Nuno Gomes is the worst, this guy has a lot of skill but he still can't score! I can't wait till Mantorras gets back...
