Hey guys, is there anybody out there who could find out how to add kits, WITHOUT replacing EA's existing ones?
One of the problems most kit patches have, is that to use them, we have to replace the existing jersey files.
So you just had hours of fun, playing with your favourite teams' kits, and then you decide to replay the last World Cup final. But... oh no! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/redface.gif ...suddenly, the French national team is sponsored by your street's supermarket!
And Brazil's jerseys have turned into a multi coloured Picasso kind of painting, because they're using that other club's shirt with screwed up colours!
That's a bit frustrating, isn't it?
That's why I thought of this.
If I'm not mistaken, the original EA's jersey files are from pk001.fsh to pk053.fsh .
Now, if we could make the game recognise some more pk*.fsh files, we would be able to use our favourite jerseys without screwing the originals.
I don't understand much of computer programming, but if people's will and creativity has been able do things like changing the game's original league names, editing 2nd division teams, and so much more (thanks guys http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif ), I thought that may be someone could figure a way out of this jerseys problem.
Or is this already possible and I'm just wasting time?
So, any ideas?
