Did anyone download the new Italian Chants. I sure did and they sound excellent. It feels like you are really in the game. But my question for all of you is, does anyone know how to take soccer chants and convert them into fifa 2000 format so that we could listen to our own favorite chants. Well if anyone knows could they please let me know, i would really appreciate. Heck, if someone tells me how to do it, I could create a patch with my own chants and put them on the site. Thanks alot!!!

This is a response but not one you were hoping for. I have a question. Where did you put the chants. I put it where the crowd file was but I didn't hear any new chants let, alone the fact that the file (it might have been another added file I had added) started to make the game act weird like freezing and exiting to windows during a game, etc.

But any way maybe I put it in the wrong area where did you put it.

i put it under the c:\ea sports\fifa 2000\data\audio\sndmisc folder. but the fifa directory might be different then yours. but where ever the fifa 2000 directory is put the chants.viv file under the data\audio\sndmisc and overwrite the other chants.viv! i hope that this helps, if not write back.

I downloaded the chants last night and I like them. They are cool and another demension to the the game. I unzipped the file into the main Fifa 2000 directory and seems to have worked.

I let the program that comes with the download to put it in automaticaly and even though when I bring up all my files in F2K it does not show but when I searched for the file it self it shows it in the directory that you said so I guess it is ok. But one thing that is weird is that it didn't ask to over write any file and I know it didn't overwrite it automatically since I unclicked the automatic box. Also you said the file was chant.viv mine says chant.cat do you know if this makes a difference?
I guess I will have to ask the creator. anyway thanks agian for the help.
