****in hell, berti vogts has been scotland manager waaaaaay too long. i dont think scotland have ever been this **** in there history! :kader: it would help if the ****in manager could speak english!!!!!!! Please Berti, **** off, no-one likes you, your gay! :| he went out of his way last week to moan at ian mccall for picking comb ahead of Gallacher in goals for Dundee United, then in the Ireland game Vogts picked Sullivan (who hasnt played in the spurs first team in almost a year) ahead of Gallacher!!! Then one minute he's hailing Ferguson sayin he could play for Real Madrid, then he's sayin all our players are 2nd class internationals!! he's leading us no where but dooooooown. and i just read the paper and he wants to pick up promising young english players with scottish relatives to play for us ahead of england, does vogts not understand when we sing stand up if you hate england. we want to see scots in scotland tops not english folk!!!

Yeah, I have to agree. I was a big supporter of him at first but it's just got worse and worse. He's been in the job over a year and it seems that he doesn't know his best team, formation or anything.

You can see that the players don't have the passion to play for Scotland. Especially the English bastards (no offence guys;)). Scotland-England is the oldest rivalry in the history of the game. Get them out!!!! We need to get someone who will shout at them and get them into shape. Someone like Graeme Souness or maybe George Graham, he's been out of the game for a while.

We should keep that Bonhof guy though. He's doing a great job with the U-21s.

Berti is a great manager and Scotland were very lucky to get such a high profile boss. But I agree he's not right for Scotland.

I don't think he realises what it means to play for Scotland. He can't drum the passion in like a Scotsman would:mrpimp:

all the comments would make sense if he were managing Dalglish, Souness, McCoist and Johnston, but who the hell plays for Scotland?

I agree in the sense that right now Scotland doesn't have much to work with, but Berti also hasn't done a damn thing for Scotland.

Barry Ferguson is the only decent player we have at the moment. But yeah, this is the worst team we have ever had IMO. The real problem is grass roots football. There's no proper youth schemes about :(

definitely no disrespect to Ferguson, who's a fantastic player.

I also saw an Aberdeen v Rangers game a fortnight back and Aberdeen has a couple good young players too, but I am not sure if they are Scots.

No Heart
No Talent
No Nation :(

Scotland are a disgrace, the team are so dull, untalented and most importantly of all, passionless:kader:

Mind you, I don't blame all of this on Berti, the blame is definitely with Paw Broon, he ruined Scotland's future by playing thritysomething duds (Christian Dailly, AAGGHH!!:f***: ) and any Engish rejects whose Granny's cat lived quite close to the Scottish border, how can anyone feel proud of their nation by flooding the national team with that!?:kader:

Barry Ferguson is probably one of the world's most overrated players IMO, but he's still the best player we have...

The current Scotland side is probably the worse Scottish national side in living memory.

Players like Gary Alexander, Paul Devlin, Robbie Stockdale, etc. shouldn't be even near the squad.

The picking of Englishmen in the Scottish team was ridiculous to start with, and now it just stinks of desperation.

There are precious few 'Scotsmen' out there who have real talent. Barry Ferguson is their best player but he is by no means genuinely class.

Then you have the have-beens like Christian Dailly who's a mediocre Premiership defender and Paul Lambert who's getting on a bit.

And after that you have very little. Premiership bench players and Scots who're not good enough to play for the Old Firm in Scotland.

That pretty much sums it up. I've said it before and I'll say it again- it all comes down to one thing- lack of youth training. And the precious few good youth players we do have get bought up by the Old Firm and never heard of again:(
