Hey all

I have recently uploaded my gameplay patch that I made to soccergaming so expect it to be there soon. It is my first, so I just thought i'd share with all of you. Here is what the readme says, to give u guys a little thought on it.

Shooting- For the user, I have decreased the shot assistance
to 1.0 instead of the usual 2.5. This makes it look much much
more realistic for the goalie, as well as the user. No more
dynamic and crazy saves from the keeper. However, for the cpu
you will see the realism on how much chances the cpu will miss.
They will shoot high and wide, one on one with the gk, the gk will
intimidate the living crap out of the cpu.

Passing- It took me a long time to figure out how to make possesion
equal and realistic. I made the cpu pass more and dribble less, but
do not be surprised to see the cpu do many skilled dribbling when it
does dribble. The passes are crisp and perfect so defend very very well.

Mixture- The mix in the game is unique. Sometimes the cpu will lob the
ball alot, sending it to the fowards from the back. Or sometimes the
cpu will build up the play thru the midfield, down the middle or through
the flanks. This keeps you on your toes, because you don't know what to
expect. Also fatigue will set in very quickly, so be careful on pressing
that sprint button. One last thing is, the referee is realistic as hell
direct red cards and everything.


So there u have it. Hopefully it'll be out soon so you can try it out. I'm going to work on another one soon.

i have also completed new version of my patch
description:This patch has been created from my previously edited patch to make the FIFA 2003 game engine extremelly realistic!
What's new:
===========
->Indivisual a.i. setup for 192 players created by Breamster and me.All player works like their real life counterparts.
->The CPU defence improved tremendously.Defence is much tighter and more aggressive.It will hard to split the CPU defense.
->CPU aggression improved tremendously.More fouls,more free kicks.
->In this version everything is balanced,CPU doesn't always shoot from large distance(less CPU shot from long range).CPU can play more often in the box.
->CPU players does more often skill moves.Also they sprints and dribbles a lot so that it is hard to stop them.
->A little bit obvious advantage is given to home team over the visitors.
->CPU plyers will run offside trap more often.
->Goal kicks legth have been extended upto 20%-25% than its original length.
->This time i have created 4 gameplay packages with different goalkeepers skill levels.
->Custamisable options(e.g.define ref's strictness)

Description(In categories):

1)CPU GAMEPLAY->
Computer team will be now more challenging,they will play outstanding attacking and more tactical football.They will use some new techniqes and new finishing moves to score goal.Now the computer players will also run offside trap.CPU attacks using mixed tactics.CPU players does more often skill moves.Also they sprints and dribbles a lot so that it is hard to stop them.CPU shots from outside the box(but less times as compared to my previous version).The A.I is much more clever now. Now the players are like real players.Players running through each other has been increased. The players aggression, awareness and positioning has been improved tremendously.More dynamic style of play by CPU; through passes, lobs, attack from wings and centre.New improved passing for better gaming experinces,extremelly lifelike passing.More lob passes and through passes.Players running through each other has been increased.

2)Goalkeepers->
The goalkeeper A.I has improved tremendously as they save more shots.The goalies are very good now.goalkeepers AI have been improved as to decrease scrorelines.The goalies will stop more shots on goal than before.More challenging gaolkeepers.The goalkick distance have been extended.Also cheating time for goalkicks is decreased as a result you can't cheat and waste time by not kicking the ball into play.

3)BALL POSSESSION->
Possession is realistic (50-50).Sometimes the CPU has more possession and sometimes the human team has more possession.Now there will be less 70-30,60-40 possesions and more of 55-45,50-50 or even 40-60 possesions.And you will really make your players work hard,Just to keep possesion away from the CPU team.

3)SHOOTING->
Improved shooting.Shot assistant have been DECREASED as as result,there will be less shts on target by both teams also you have to work abit harder to get the ball into the net.It now possible to score from outside the box but,to score from long range you have to be at a reasonable angle and you should have a good striker.The shooting power is increased.Made chip shots more realistic.

4)PASSING->
pass system is more efficient and realistic.The passing system has been tested and works even better than before.Now passes go through more easily.Offsides have been set in such a way that players(both cpu and human) run offside trap more often.

5)CROSSING->
It is easier! you can score more goals with crosess.Real life clips of crosses.With new ball physics,Crosses will curve more reallisticly than before.

6)PLAYERS FATIGUE->
Injuried players seem to be really 'injuried'.Fatigue seems to be more important.The players are now going to get tired in much quicker time. Fatigue will also be effecting the shot accuracy and shot power.SO YOU HAVE TO USE SUBSTITUTES(now you actually have a reason to sub players not due to injury or tactics like it should be)

7)BALL PHYSICS->
The actual physics of the ball have been improved, giving a solid realistic ball that reacts perfectly within its environment.The new ball physics gives spinning lobs and crosses a totally new real effect.The speed of ball on the ground is much faster than that of airballs.Now the ball rolls quite realisticly on free kicks.

8)DIFFICULTY LEVEL->
All difficulty levels(Amateur, Semi-pro, Professional and World Class) have been once again redefined.Progression doesn't jump too far between difficulty levels.The game has been made hard as to decrease the scorelines.

9)OTHER SRTTINGS->
Powerup rate of penalties is increased.It is abit harder to convert penaltis into the goal.
Green spot of free kicks is incresed.
The referees are also much smarter than before and they don't always book when an aggressive tackles performed.

notice that all four fouls get booking ...

they (Real Madrid) also shot less ... they seems to cut my ball more thn shooting ...

their goal is courtesy of the damn MOTM, Ronaldo's header ... :f***:

by the way ... i have a great volley by Maciel! and as long as you don't gave them the ball ... you can score ...

should'd gave them 2 nil ... anyway nice patch ... but i prefer Breamter's ...

hey thanks for trying the gameplay.
oh i'm sure its not up to par yet. But its getting there, i'm just happy people are downloading it.hehe. Anyway, i see i need to work on the referee setting, thats always difficult to do, i'll start my next patch soon, right now i'm working on one for madden 2003. Hopefully i can get some good constructive criticism like yours, thanks a bunch man, it means alot!!

I really enjoy your gameplay. The ball physics is far better than in most patchs and the defence has been really improved. I also got some 55/45 ball possession, which is quite acceptable. The goalkeepers are also more realistic. I play it in international, the only thing I hesitate about is the game speed (slow or normal?).

I have played a few other games now, in international/slow speed. For me, your gameplay is simply the best so far. Congratulations.

i've never tried it on slow speed . i'm always used to normal, but i'm sure slow is a good speed to start with nehow.i like normal because i like to challenge myself because the game moves so quick and flowing. 55/45 is in my opinion a good possesion value, tho i still wish the cpu could get alot more possession, its just rather hard, editing is very new to me, i'm sure i'll get the hang of it soon,thanks for the comments, please tell me if i need to work on nething!

SEPAKBOLA, did you really manage to have the computer shoot high and wide? Which parameters in INI.big did you change to obtain that?

Please reply, I've been trying to achieve that for months!

hey willer, in the aicpu file all u edit is. CPU BAD SHOT PERCENTAGE and then you put a desired percent, i put it on 55 and it makes it alo tmore realistic and keeps the scoerline down, i'm working on a better gameplay patch so it'll be coming out soon, and i dont think i'll send it to SG cause the rating is ****.

SEPAKBOLA, your gameplay is full of promises but there is one point that I don't like: it's the speed which is too fast IMO.
Could you try to fix that ?
Even when I play at slow speed the players are running like rabbits !!! .You should try to emulate the real speed because it`s not realistic at all. Try to make several updates because there are
people here who also don't like these fast settings.
And at this speed you don't have the time to build a satisfying strategy ,which destroys the whole purpose.
And also don't be upset by the comments of the others at the
download center or in the forums because most of them are rubbish and not objective. Particularly when it's about gameplay,
because gameplay is really a matter of taste and everyone has its
own opinion about it.
