Are those games on Univision as well? And how surprising is it to see Honduras, who nearly qualified for World Cup 2002, in fifth place! Is Carlos Ruiz playing for Guatemala? If he is I'm betting he's got 3-4 goals already. :) :shades: :clapwap:

No, only Galavision that I see them live matches. I think Univision only covers the highlights.

Apparently, Galavision & Univision are working under the same company : Cisneros Group in New York. But, they are in different channels. If you are still interested in getting Galavision, visit this site.

Costa Rica, Guatemala, & El Salvador are in the finals of Gold Cup 2003 this summer in the US as the host nation. Congrats to them.

N.B.
** = The results on the last day left hosts and Honduras tied for fourth place with four points each, each of them having scored goals and given up five and their head-to-head match played to a 1:1 tie. That necessitated a lottery which resulted in giving the higher place to Honduras, who will now enter a play-off with the group runners-up from the two Caribbean Zone groups for the final spot in this summer’s confederation championship for national teams. Nicaragua finished sixth on three points after posting their first victory ever in Copa de Naciones play

this Gold Cup is gonna kick ass, so many questions will be answered:

will USA still play like in the World Cup?

will Mexico's new coach have a team ready for the Gold Cup?

Most of them that I saw were entertaining ones. Quality, well, it's not really that bad though. I saw some superb goalie's acrobatic excellent saves too from this tournament. Almost all the teams played to win in every match. So, it's all good to me.

The Gold Cup tournament will bring more quality since there will be lots of great teams like Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, etc.
