256 x 21 Pixel was just too small to create really nice adboards, so I created a quadruple sized fsh file which now provides 512 x 42 Pixels for each single adboard.

A first set of these boards will be part of the upcoming TVPopUp-Patch...

great. I was made this. But I couldn't see any difference in the game . So I cancelled the project. Did you seen any difference in the game?

with my actual graphiccard everything looks poor, because my Radeon is somewhere between here and Taiwan and I had to reactivate my old ATIExpert2000 :(
I will send you an UCL-Package and you can post some screenshots if you want too. Im interested to see how they look with a better card too ;)

the screenshots are really great, high quality indeed, thx for that silencer :)

as you see the Ford -adboard for example is just resized from a small to a bigger size, which is of course the wrong way to achieve better quality, but I just havent had time to investigate better pictures, but its obvious that there is still something to improve.


The "Mastercard" and "Eurocard" adboards are made with high resolution graphics and the letters are edited with Paintshop so the quality is 100%.

Best of all the pictures can easily be imported with EAGraph, at this time I have to make a little HexEditing to make them work with Fifa, but I hope to fix this soon, so everybody can make new adboards with these templates than.

I have no idea, because I just didnt tried too. I never cared much about kits because I always played TOWER or PANORAMIC Camera ;)

Ariel knows more about kits and he did this with Fifa2001 and Fifa2002, so I guess if its possible he would do it even with Fifa2003, wouldnt he ?

I like your idea, but i remember last year when neovico did it with the Super Face textures for 2002 where he made really large textures and supposedly there was supposed to be better quality, but i really didn't notice any difference it just looked like as if the texture was resampled. Do you think this will happen with the adboards?:) :confused:

THX for the list FCH, did you test it ? I found some lists but it seems that there were errors inside, I guess some adboards are assigned to special tournements like CC for example.

about adboardsize: It can only be changed by the size of the vertexes, so it must be done with Oedit, but I havent tried Oedit yet... In Fifa2002 there were individual adboard**.rav-files which stored the position and size of the adboard-vertexes so it was easy to make them new from scratch for each stadium.


@ i_am_budge:

I guess a special prgramm isnt needed, when Im going to release the templates you will be able to import them very easily just with EAGraph or SonicFSH (at this time there is still a little HEX-Job to do)

A tool like an adboard-Raptor isnt needed, because the files just have to be inside the data-folder to be used by the game.

@andy: look at silencers screens and compare to the original adboards.

That list can't be right, because I know that the Santiago Bernabeu and the Mestalla share adboards, as well as Highbury and Old Trafford...some numbers correspond to different leagues, rather than stadiums or teams...

Sorry, i don´t test this but there is from the Access Tutorial made by Hakeem, so i thing that was correct ;)
about adboardsize, i can made this for you with O-Edit, i work with O-Edit on a new Stadium, so send me a Mail which file must be edit and i give it a try

Sorry i saw u post to late, ithe list is only for the stadiumnumbers, but Bolzer need a list for the stadiums who share the addboards, i thing the only way to find out that is test all stadium :(

Ok its my first time i watched them and these looks terrific and as UNKNOWN1 said i thought this too to have an CC Adboards Patch with this technoogy.But i have still some doubts about it.

But i am absolutely ready for making an patch with these adboards and this new version will contain new and more perfect adboards for EVERY team.

But i cant give that effect couse FSH files doesnt support any type of animation.

Well I've tested the templates for Bolzer when he asked me to make ss of his new adboards but you can't import them with adboardraptor I'm afraid.
He's sent me the FSH-files!

Anyway we can import adboards through EA Grafix Editor but that will be complicated for many people so i cant do that.

we used to do that all the time in 2002 and wc2002 so its not that big problem.

it cant be done easily. Ariel did it by Hexeding the DBIs but it cannot be done in access. There is a filed for the adboard ID but its like many other fields that do not affect the game.
so Unless FCDB can do it then there's now way.
Maybe someone can contact the FCDB creators so they can put this in the program:)

when Bones was talking about real madrid's electronic adboards, i don't think that he meant any sort of animation. i think he wanted the adboards to look kinda pixelated, like they're made up of lots of tiny dots.

For the people who don't have the CC, you could have a .zip file in the CC_adboards.zip file. Eg, in the CC_adboards.zip, the would be another .zip file for Man U's adboards in the .fsh format, and a .zip for Arsenal's adboards, so the user can just choose which ones he wants and extract them to the data folder. Am i making sense:crazyboy:

As I said that field is there but it doesnt work for new teams like the stadium ID.
a lot of stuff in access dont work in the game. It can only be done in the DBIs :(
