It's clear to the majority of forum subscribers that the BETA testing needs to be outsourced because the current team at EA Sports in charge of FIFA cannot do a good job.

There have been more bugs revealed in FIFA 2003 than in all previous versions of FIFA combined. Who tested the game if anybody? Any 10 year old kid could have BETA tested this game over a two week period and given EA a list of corrections to be made. So who the heck did they get to test the game becasue they certainly didn't match the scrutiny of a solitary 10 year old kid!?!?

The play in FIFA 2003 is so painfully scripted that much of the action seems out of the players control. The lack of heading ability in open play, automated clearances, 'red sea' parting defenses, etc. The list goes painfully on! Just check the FIFA 2003 forum for the latest goalkeeper diving on the ball 40 yards out from goal incidences.

EA Sports are fast becoming a joke in terms of gameplay. Yes, they are masters of graphical presentation but Konami are light years ahead in gameplay.

EA, you have to allow the user to have full control over their players, you cannot continue introducing more and more scripted play in the FIFA series otherwise we may as well just have the CPU play the CPU and sit back and watch!

I will not buy another FIFA title. I've been loyal for so many years but this year I felt let down and betrayed. You only have to read the forums around the internet dedicated to FIFA 2003 to find that fans have had enough. Konami seem to be gaining heaps of fans by the day whereas the dismay with FIFA seems to grow at an accelerated rate.

When you screw up you do your competitors marketing for them. EA, you are Konami's biggest marketing tool.

Another idsaster this year and your FIFA series will be dead and cost more in devlopment and prduction than you'll make in profits.

Evolve or die.

My experience with Beta testing came with Tiger Woods 2003 and there was a great amount of feedback with regards to all aspects of the game and it was great to see the community involved. It would be nice to see this happen with FIFA

if its the same testers, forget it, couldnt figuer out the goalie can not catch it outside the box and no headers on your own?
Outside testing, gives you more opinions, and people that notice different things, and people that want the game to get better and are not being paid to do it.

You must be new to hear or something Number9 becasue people have been serious every year about wanting a great game. FIFA 2003 had more bugs in it than every other FIFA game combined proving one thing for sure. THEY HARDLY SPENT ANY TIME AT ALL TESTING IT OR THEY DON'T GIVE A FLYING F###!

Now just to make sure you know all the testers for Tiger Woods 2003 were all regular people, who applied to be testers. This was for sure a large tester community that was outside of EA. Regular folks like myself
