I think Fifa2000 is good, but I have an idea for a patch that could make the sound more realistic.
I don't know if this is realizable for EA, but I'll say it anyway.
First of all, I think a lot of F2K players will agree with me that the stadium sounds are a bit unrealistic. When you score, there is one short 'OEUWWWWWWW!' and that's it.
How about firework explosions in a very important match (final, playoff) or songs like 'You never walk alone' when you score a very important goal.
This would make the great game even better!
EA, please think about it.

Yeah music when scoring isn`t too realistic either, in fact the crowd does roar when a goal is scored.
They should have proper stadiums and chants though like Anfield or Parkhead chanting you`ll never walk alone.

bertje121, you're certainly right when you're talking about the chants when scoring a goal. just a little "yeah!" and that's it, just some claps. in Fifa 99, this was much better!

I'm not talking about a complete song or anything. But at some clubs you DO hear a little tune when there is a goal.
And how about firework explosions? Never heard that? Well, then you don't know real football-teams.

This song after a score is very common in Germany, I think whenever Bayern Munchen scores they play this fast funny symphonic tune.

Also how about making a smoke/fog effect at beginning of Seria A games, especially if its a big match in Rome or Milan? just like in real life when they set off the color flares.

bertje121 is right about the songs when the hometeam scores! If you don't know about this, then maybe you haven't been to a game ...

Yeah the chants would be nice add-on.

There should also be chants when you are leading an important game like the final of Champions league. It would be nice to hear "the champions" or "See you later" songs from the homefans.

And of course "the w****r" if there is blind referee

The fireworks should be how it was in FIFA98. When you score a goal and the player is celebrating you press either your pass, shoot, lob button and you get different sound effects, eg. fireworks, horn blowing, drums, etc.

Yeah,I agree...but the main thing about the crowd noise that i find annoying is that it's much the same roar when an away team scores as a home team..it should go virtually quiet when the away team scores,like in eastern europe or something.
