They must be fixed, along with the rest of the game play, but i'm sick of seeing Cardboard cutout-like goalkeepers.

I agree! I scored a goal in which the goalkeeper had no chance and where he was like 30 feet away from the ball and net, but yet when I scored he dived (or fell?) like a crippled baby... Oh yeah and another thing, GK's get stuck on posts alot...

hope for goodness sakes there workin on that............

1. goalkeepers recovery time awful.......makes scorin easier after a rebound....

2. why dont the goal keepers look realistic.......they save a shot and there automatically back on their feet when there meant to roll acroos the ground like a real goalkeeper....

3. in fifa 2003 why are the keepers hands 3 feet away from the ball when its going into the top corner...

4. why are the goals so small the goalkeeper doesnt even have to jump to save it...........

5. poor goalkeeper realism....when the come out they look stupid .......

Few things that should b fixed bout keepers ::
1 - Beta judgment, when the ball is shot from distance and is going wide the keeper actually leaves the ball as it sails over the bar, sails wide etc.....!
2 - No more errors where the keeper runs outside the 18 and slides in when there is a defender near the ball, also when the keeper bug kicks in and he uses his hand to save it when its clearly outside the 18!
3 - Also, more penalties, make is easier to run around the keeper and therefore make more pens for bad keepers!
4 - A New stats for keepers, they have stats which are specific for outfield or keepers, they need a reflex stat, cos it should determine wether a keeper rushing out saves a shot hit at him or not rather than the ball pretty much going through him because they cannot do more than one thing at a time, ie then cant run and save the shot at the save time, they need to run stop then save!

Has anybody realised how goalkeepers cant get sent of when they get a red card. I was playing fifa 2003 and my goal keeper (the muppet) came running out of goal and fouled a player in my penalty area. The referee issued a red card to my goal keeper and nothing happened. He didn't get sent off like in real life instead he went back into his goal.
