Lets talk about our options here.

First off, we have 5 non EU players at the moment, but we have plenty to compensate for that. These players could be rotated or something?

Italian or Spanish. Altho, i'd be happy with most leagues really. Dutch league would be cool also.

Scottish would be cool, it can be tough to get promoted then once you're in the PL the Old Firm are difficult to crack..could be fun.

So do I, the English leagues are the most diverse in the world. There's room for a smooth start, but it'll get hard later on...

i think the english conference would be best too ! although i am a bit bias because it would be awesome to get all the way to the premier league ..

I would go for the conference too, but there is the Non-EU players problem:( but I'm sure we could cope with it:)

Sir Calumn

I think the majority of our players are English aswell so it would make sense.

I think, to solve the non-EU problem we should use Italy

Sir Calumn

In Serie C2 would be OK. We want a very low down league though so we can watch the club clime :p

Just give the non-EU players an EU second nationality..

rpvankasteren
01-03-2003, 08:28:PM
Most already have a non-EU second nationality. (or already selected a EU second nationality)

Sir Calumn

We should put it to the vote but I think either the English Conference or the Italian Serie C2

Make your pick :rockman:

BTW, if i'm not allowed to make the poll cuz i'm not a moderator, just tell me :p

You are allowed to post a new poll, but if we don't like it, we'll delete it :p

This one is a little bit early, I thought there was more room for discussion, as the discussion thread hasn't been on for that long (3 hours or so???)

But I'll let it stand.

Perhaps I'll try merging with the other one. Don't hurt me if I screw up, I haven't been a mod for that long...

Yeah, I did it!!

Ok, so I just merged the location discussion and the location poll thread started by Rooney.

That's a little less confusing ;)

Thats a sweet bit o'merging there Ruud ;)

My vote goes to the English Conference as I would like to pit this team against English opposition and see how far it can climb.

I put my nationality as Iraqi/Canadian... Does that make me a non-EU? :p

Sweden it is then. Well, that's one less non-EU player to be worried about. Even more encouragement to go to the Conference!

WHOA!!!

Silly debate. It has to be the conference for obvious reasons.

A majority of us are English
In Italy, the club would under achieve due to us not speaking Italian
Coaching staff and adaptability problems

The conference it is. It's a silly idea. If we are put into another league, I will certainly stick us into the conference as soon as I have downloaded the update.

Sir Calumn
02-03-2003, 08:51:PM
Yeah, the conference is winning the vote by miles aswell. Seem like that's what it's gonna be.

I think it's safe to say this poll was won by the English Conference. I'll start up a poll now to see which team will have to be relegated to "a lower division".

Sir Calumn
03-03-2003, 08:30:PM
Yep the poll is officially closed. You can comment on it in the 'Team to Relegate' thread :)
