The english sucks .C'mon u have 3 or 4 challenging teams and the rest are crap like Notthingham ,wimbledon,Leeds ...no wonder teams like arsenal ,Man Utd look strong .They have no challenge .In Italy u may find some crapy team but not much.The best teams in the world r there ,Parma,Lazio,Fiorentina,Milan,Juventus,Inter,Bolog na etc...

You make great point about the high quality of many Italian teams which means almost every week there is a great game on.
This week: Lazio- Juventus no 1 vs no. 2 in standings. Also Milan-Parma play this week.

Look at the English league lineup on the other hand there is hardly a good match-up, Everton - Aston Villa? West Ham - Liverpool?Sheffield Wed- Man U? Im tired of paying for my english games and week after week having to watch crappy match-ups.

The English league is just boring to watch ,everyone knows who is going to win.

english league, boring? come on, give me and most of us in the world a break. Italian teams are basically successful bcoz of 2 reasons, (a) money(which they seem to have a lot of it) and (b) pple who play frightened, defensive football.
first of all, with cash, any team can be successful. Look at Lazio. Salas? Veron? Where are they from? I am sure they are not from Italy. Footballers nowadays seldom talk truthfully bout their love for the city they are in. Mostly, they are there for the money. Without cash, can Italian teams be successful?? Maybe, considering the fact that they play such defensive and tactical football all the time. Look at a team like Aston Villa. Do they have the cash to bring in world class players like Del Piero who lives on 4 million pounds a year? The only team that can probably afford this is Manchester United. But even they dun do it. We have to be realistic here. Dun always tok about being the best unless u really depend on homegrown quality. Otherwise, u are just a piece of sh*t.
Also, look at the english premier league. It is attacking football all the time. I am a premier league fan. Love it absolutely. I also watch Italian League occasionally. But that is only when i feel i need a good afternoon nap. When i first started out watching football, the Italian League shocked me. Boasting about being the Best League In The World was shocking. In terms of tactics, yes. In terms of excitement, forget it! But we also can't blame the Italians, can we? They are after all, lousy losers. If not, why do most of the Serie A teams change their managers ever so often?

Here is one reason English football is not as exciting to watch as Italian football: most of they sunday and monday games they put on are totally bad. I think 3 out of last four sunday games involved promoted sider! I've had to suffer through Bradford and Watford so many times this season Im ready to ask for my money back from the cable company. They only had two good match-ups all year(Arsenal-Man U and Chelsea-Man U)!! Rest of the time Im watching bottom of the table crap teams like Wimbledon.

Plus your view of Italian league being boring, I don't know what matches you're watching but they have great games week after week.

Like i said b4, PolishPower, there is no doubt that the teams in Italy are good. No question bout the number of teams that can challenge for the Serie A title either. But when i watch football matches, what matters most to me is excitement. I dun give a damn bout what stars there are in a team. I dun mind watching Brazilian soccer coz i feel it is very attractive, and i dun even know any of the players inside! Attacking football is on almost all the time. But when it comes to the Italian League, what we see sometimes is packing 8 players in defence to protect the goal and having mindless possession. I dun see that as exciting football; why should it be?

Polish Power are you basing your views on the Premier League by what your games cable companies televises or what games are actually on???

Every week in england there are great games. you complained about seeing Bradford play? What about when they played Leeds???
Isn't a yorkshire derby good enuff for u??

Im not saying that the Seria is bad cause it isnt im just saying that there are good games in the Premier League that you dont get to see.
